While Sera was looking at the guy, she did notice the gesture from Sonnie out of the corner of her eye. Part of her said not to, she should focus on what was going, the other half? It went for a chip, cause, yum! A small smile to Sonnie and a nod as she picks out a chip.

It wasn’t the swear that caught her off guard, she swore when she felt like it. It was the words, magical bullshit.

Sonnie was getting bored. Her eyes wandered the area, scanning about for anything interesting. Part of her found it difficult to believe this Grey Hood actually came alone. There had to be others nearby, just in case, right? Powerless mortals could certainly still be a threat, but it seemed foolhardy to her for one normie to be meeting up with four Lost like this without backup. Mortal strength was in their numbers.

Sonnie, suspicious and watchful, spots something on the floor of the backseat wrapped in a blue tarp. It's large and lumpy. It's (probably) not another Grey Hood.

Then back to the bat man, "She totally has that. And it ain't like we're going ta ask fer something. We're just trying ta start a good, healthy friendship between our teams. Peace is what we both want, because we hate our mutal, hmm, competition. Circe doubled down on offering some sort of help for the guy's wounds that clearly were no wounds. Gerrit was getting more uneasy now. Was there something he was missing?

He closed his eyes and just took a deep breath. Listened to the conversation going on without snapping at the grey hood to stop pretending and to get to the point. Seraphina's voice proved to be a good distraction, as was the thought that he didn't want to be the reason this attempt at extending the olive branch failed.
Oblivious to most of the things that went on around him, the Stonebones just hoped that this pity party conversation about wounds would end before he gave them something to actually feel pity for made a fool out of himself.

A light shrug, “Whatever. But the offer will still stand for you or you friends if the need arises.” She couldn’t help it; she didn’t like seeing people hurt. But this one seemed to enjoy being hurt, so, there was that.

Looking to Circe, “I always have a first aid kit with me.” Well, kind of. Her first aid kit was her hands and her skills. “But I’d just drop it, no need to be pushy. The offer was made and refused, we should respect that.” And while she could kind of in a way force it, well, if someone knocked him out, she wouldn’t. “And he now knows there is medical care here if him or his friends need it.” Not everyone wanted to be helped. And who knows what this guy’s history was with getting help.

Oh, now this was interesting.

This thing in the backseat. If it was another Grey Hood, they did a poor job of hiding. The tarp was a lousy disguise. So, probably not a person. Unless they were really dumb.

On the other hand, the fact Bat Guy seemed to be alone was concerning. Sonnie hadn't spotted anyone lurking in the area. Did he really show up without reinforcements? Or was the back-up just really good at hiding? That was also concerning.

Yes, much to be concerned about. Including his attitude, which appeared to be agitating Sera of all people. What was going on with this dude?

"Good." gruffly, a nod. Then like it was being pull out of him like a rotten tooth, "Thanks." reaching for the bag.

Another nod, shoulders loosening, looking like he was softening to the idea when Circe pulls out her sales pitch, but not thawing. He opens his mouth, closes it as he glances at Sera when she speaks again, angelic voice promising not now, and later. "Later. Maybe."

If Circe hands over the bag, the Grey Hood will open the driver's side door to shove the bag into the passenger's seat.

Things seemed to be moving in the right direction, finally. Whatever flaws Fairests might have, they did make good assets in diplomatic meetings - if they had some common sense left in them, that is. Circe's gift was accepted and even Seraphina's offer was considered, so Gerrit felt like they could direct the conversation to more concrete topics.

"How are your friends, by the way? Have you found anything else of interest?" Yes, he had judged Titania for lacking tact back then, but if the scar was actually real Gerrit would have been capable of showing some tact himself. This guy was practically begging to be asked what had happened to him, though - so Gerrit obliged.
