They both backed down. Good. The Arrow was left alone with her thoughts and she watched over the rest of them carefully.

Maybe it was because she knew what is was like to have an unyeilding opinion or maybe it was because she had received strict drilling in philosophy and ethics. Perhaps it was simply that recognizing when two approaches were incompatible was easiest to an outsider. On one hand, Corn. Willing to leap before asking how or why. A free reign of magic. On the other, Puck. The letter of the law. Almost as if any magic that wasn't invisible should be a crime. Well, that was easy for an Acanthus, but is was an attitude she had seen more in Guardians than Free Council members.

Both had valid points of view. Corn could be argued down from his 'leap before looking' ideas if caught, but the concern was in his consistent base approach - willing to do things without a thought for if it was wise. Puck saw this. It was the core of his argument, one she did agree was concerning. But he would also dismiss circumstance for absolute ruling and reductio ad absurdum, just as he did with herself. Laws were created by people and thus fallible, unable to account for all circumstance. Curing a child of a genetic condition was different to an ethnic purge. For better or worse, both looked too precious to ever turn to blows, or to ever challenge and thus remove their differences. Instead, shouting, arguing, character assassination. Tedious. Hopefully they would hear the view of the Concillium, and she would not have to step in to stop them from themselves. It would require more observation.

Next month was the official quarterly meeting and the end of her 'punishment'. Perhaps the point would have been made, though she considered that impractically optimistic.

She sipped her water and watched.

With little else to discuss, Corn had small talk with Belle and Aurora until it was time to go.
For scene effects, see Minisheet. No monthly rituals at this time.
Occult 4 because Mysterium is about the knowledge!

Tensions were once again running high, but ultimately people managed to de-escalate and the rest of the day went pretty uneventful.
