There has been an unseasonal surge in temperature, driving people out of doors to take advantage of the balmy weather. Good news for Funderland, even as it drives the Lost to be much more circumspect in their activities. Not that this stops the burned dwarf from heading over to the theme park - he simply waits till later in the evening, when the wintry night has fallen and the theme park has closed for the day.
There is still warmth in the ground, the heat still rising from the concrete and buildings, which the Wizened ghosts by. He ignores the ferris wheel this time as well, the scene of his last meeting with other Lost before the coronation. Nor does he plant himself under the trees where he found himself in the time before that. This time, Anatole makes straight for Edna's.
He opens up the rambling old house without much ceremony; makes straight for the kitchen where he leaves his superfluous jacket and makes himself a tea. While the drink stews he moves around the lower floor, opening some windows to encourage a cleansing flow of air; the back door he leaves open - inviting any Lost who might be passing by into Autumn's domain.
Finally, tea in hand, the wizened dwarf plants himself on the back steps.
Solitude can be a pleasure for the cynical wizened.
It is also a double invitation - The Paladin of Shadows, emissary of the Ash, is abroad this night.
