So, how do you want to do this?

"Good question, me!" Sonnie said aloud, to her dog. Fugly looked up from where he laid curled up on his bed, disinterested in whatever his caretaker was doing since it didn't appear to involve snacks. He laid his head back down and resumed his nap.

The apartment was largely quiet, except for the TV playing in the background. A game show was on, providing white noise. The Beast paced about her kitchen, thinking.

She had a mission. To track down the fetch of King Rhodes. What she did with it once she found it was less clear. Kill it, maybe? Bring it to the Fairest? Whatever. She'd cross that bridge if she found it.

Big if.

Detective work was not her strong suit, but the pledge she took helped with that. The Wyrd made certain things clearer in her usually-erratic mind. Connections between clues was easier to make. She still suffered from 'Beast Brain' but it wasn't as much of a hindrance as it otherwise would be. For now.

Sonnie flipped a pencil in her hands as she looked at her notebook. She had scribbled down what knowledge Rhodes had dropped about his evil twin. She'd even gotten a photo of his younger self for reference. Handsome dude.

Still an gross monster made of sticks and mud and Gentry magic, though.

It seemed to be a grifter, of sorts. Scammed people out of money.

"Where's a good place to do that?" she asked herself aloud. Fugly didn't respond this time. He just snored.

Time to sum up her knowledge of Sacramento and figure out the best place to go!

Sorry it's taken so long to get caught up on these!
Sonnie Wu - If there's one thing that Sonnie knows, it's food. Having sampled all kinds of places all over town, she's seen more food places than some people realise exist in the city, and that's what she picks up on.

The picture of the Fetch shows that he is sat in an outside part of a cafe. It's hard to tell which one, but in the background is a Taco truck - and only one such fine eatery is that appaling blend of ornage and red like a mexican fireball. Tito's Tacos - a truck that tends to stick to the blocks surrounding the southern edge of the business district.

It wasn't much but it was a start, narrowing the city to a specific area.

Tito's Tacos!

She liked Tito's. To be honest, Fiesta Guadalajara had better tacos, but Tito's always satisfied in a pinch. It usually depended on which truck was closest when lunch time rolled around. At least it did back when she was still working as a delivery girl, and was out and about in the city. These days, she worked as a kung fu instructor at a dojo, and just used one of those food delivery apps to bring the tacos to her.

"This is no time to think about tacos!" she proclaimed, stamping a fist on her kitchen counter. "I have an evil monster to hunt!" The Beast quickly gathered up her belongings and threw on a hoodie. "Tacos after, maybe!"

Sonnie went to the door, paused, and looked back at her dog, who had awoken from his napping to peer at her curiously. "I'll be back with tacos, Fugly! And maybe a fetch's head or something, I dunno."

The canine huffed and turned his eyes towards the television. Sonnie shrugged and left.

Next stop: The business district, south side!

The business district. How many days had Sonnie been patrolling it now? She hadn't kept track, but she was sure it was more than two weeks.

The Beast was beginning to lose hope of finding the Fetch. This was the only lead she had, and progress had stalled.

Dressed in blue jeans, a zipped-up black fleece jacket, her hedgespun boots and a red beanie, Sonnie at least could admire the Christmas decorations that were out now. Winter was coming. She didn't have long to complete this hunt.

At least no one else had caught the thing, as far as she knew. There was still a chance.

Sonnie has her Hedgespun items (boots, staff and pendant), plus her messenger bag, smart phone, some snacks, her goblin fruits (two murmurleafs and a coupnettle tea), and three throwing knives (hidden about her person)
