Ram shook his head. Nothing about this location in the Hedge looked familiar. He tried to find any useful landmarks to help begin navigating to the Orchard but he came up empty on all counts.

It could very well be just his imagination running wild, the self-fulfilling prophecy of the Hedge's effect writing itself again, but Gerrit felt something violent stir within him as he walked through the Gate. And why wouldn't he? It felt like he had grown closer to his Ogre side over the last few months. His perception of things certainly had changed. He balled his fists and clenched his jaw to steel his resolve.

Seraphina and Rhodes seemed to know what they're doing, so Gerrit was comfortable following their lead. Ram and Worm appeared to be on the lookout, so Gerrit tried to make use of the last Patrols through the Hedge.

Even though it didn't appear to be close to where they ended up last time, he looked for patterns, similarities and things that might point to the orchard of an evil Autumn Queen. Maybe the Hedge was playing tricks on him, but he shared what he found with whomever wanted to lead them onward. "I'll watch our rear." It was a different group, but he liked to stick to those small traditions anway.

[Saber Sloth]

Rhodes a Fairest and Autumn faced with something he should know but doesn't, he layers on the charm, distracting everyone from Flowering having admit a fault in his memory. Good thing his better half knows where they are and approximately where to go. (And tells the others.)

Worm, keeping an eye out, takes in normal hedge sights, with the accompanying noises, wind, animal sounds. Creaking hedge-y foliage, but nothing that seems like an immediate threat.

Seraphina can take lead for the navigation since she knows where to go! Everyone who wants to roll for Teamwork can do so, and Sera and roll last with the Teamwork aid! Ooooor Rhodes could take lead with the others helpfully pointing out the way to go!

Sera decides to take the lead, she had a good idea where to go, so why not? And if she came across trouble? Well, she'd deal with it then.

Seems like Sera's taking the lead. Fine by Worm. He trusts her. Knows she's smart. And a badass to boot.

A nod to Gerrit. "I'll flank," he replies softly.

The hedge is the hedge. No immediate threats or indications of trouble. So he decides to help out with the navigation, occasionally pointing out signs of passage where apparent with a quiet word or gesture.

He doesn't know this ground. But he's been in the shit enough to pick out a path forward when he sees one.

The knives stay drawn and at the ready as they advance.

"I got right flank," he said following Gerrit's example. Rhodes and Sera obviously had unspoken bond and communication but Ram didn't have that with any except maybe Gerrit.

He took up position behind the two Fairests, and began giving occasional updates on what he saw on his side that could help with navigation.
