Phoenyx doesn't get it - weren't people supposed to stay and chat after a performance? Barely any of the audience now looked as if they've just witnessed something groundbreaking, most of them looked kind of spent. They didn't linger, it was as if most of them couldn't wait to get out. Although it was curious, they didn't appear to be controlled by anything or have their mind altered. For all the Obrimos could tell they were just tired, not expressing any strong emotions apart from maybe annoyance.
The Usher indeed went back to her concession stand, where she sat and did her best to ignore any stray customers. Her face was working, as if she was either fighting for or against that indifference she was presenting to the world.
The threads of fate bloomed and tangled before Phoenyx' eyes, but either her understanding Fate or about those subtle social interactions was lacking: there was hardly anything standing out to her among the masses. Only one thing was noticeable: the tomboy was connected to the place, and judging by the way that particular thread was coiled around her neck it probably wasn't the most harmonious or benevolent connection.
Then that young woman suddenly perked up and looked around, finding Phoenyx staring at her in the thinning group of people. "What are you looking at, huh?" If she cared about anybody hearing her confronting the Talon she didn't show it. Then again, apart from a semi-interested look or two the remaining audience didn't care either.
Puck , Guru and Kaze deliberated in by now emptied auditorium. With no audience present there was just the humming of the electrical equipment, some remnants of leaving guests and shrill women's voice. They were too far away to make out what exactly was being said, but the voice most definitely belonged to Becky - she seemed to be arguing. After the volume of sound and emotion they've just witnessed it seemed almost dead in here, forgotten. After a while the feeling of being probed, caressed also subsided. The Mages were now alone with their feelings and a suggested plan by the Libertine and the Apostate.
