Jacque glanced at his phone, recognizing the tone from someone of higher importance. By the time he finished the first sentence, he was already vacating the evening's afterparty he had finagled himself into. Once in his SUV, he called Twist .

The wheels were already moving, there wasn't much time before daybreak.
