Walking down the hallway, you can see the letter on the blocks smashed into the wall. M.

Colonel Worm approaches the tumblers to examine them but none look more worn than the others. They do look very worn though. From the looks of it, there are no traces of paint on the cylinder at all. The board is blank.

Titania

Looking around she notices that the ‘knob’ isn’t just a regular blob. It was… blocky.

Int+Occult or Int+Academics to identify the strange P.

A wave of realization hits her all of a sudden. She doesn't speak, rather, she tugs at Liam's back, pointing her slender finger toward her finding.

[Liam Gelt]

Liam returns Dirt Nap's look. The Goblin doesn't seem to have any headway, so Liam preps himself to smash down the door...until Eleanor tugs on her back.

"Yeah? You found something?" Liam tries not to break his whisper as he looks excitedly at the source of Eleanor's excitement: the block in his hand.

[Colonel Worm]

White-within-white eyes move from the Fairest to the Ogre. They're onto something. Worm doesn't know what. But it's clear something is coming into focus to Titania.

So, he holds for now. Lets them confab.

In the meantime, he steps a little closer to the door. Doesn't press his ear to the thing, but positions himself near to it and strains to hear anything (besides clapping) on the other side.

Titania

Titania recognizes the symbol on the block as a form of the rune Thurisaz or Thurs. It’s associated with giants, thorns, and the ‘th' sound

Approaching the door, all the Changelings are able to hear the sound of hands from the other side. Rythmic, regular, rotten. And more than two.

[Titania]

"The rune, it indicates the thorns. It could be a pointer toward a Hedge Gate", she says, sucking in her breath.
"They are on the other side... waiting"

[Liam Gelt]

So, after all the careful assessment, it turns out the children's toy was just that: a toy. No weird magic or booby traps. Just an arrow pointing them into the Hedge.

Liam's frustration rises to a bass rumble in his throat. "Then let's not keep them waiting."

The stealth mission had officially become an invasion! Liam pulls back a long, trunk-like leg and kicks out at the door, leaving an opening for Col Worm to land a follow up if it still stood.

And it's Liam who's started the tune.

Knives still in hand, Worm joins the dance.

Not only does he deliver a kick of his own, he also calls on the Contract of Stone to weaken their target.

No glamour expended for the contract, as it fulfills the catch: "The Changeling is attempting to remove a barrier, such as a door or wall." Result is -1 durability to the door.

Liam can feel it as his fist connects with the door. This isn’t regular box material. It looks like it but it doesn’t cave in as much as it should. Somehow the wyrd has strengthened it from being a part of this hollow.

For the Colonel though – he calls out to the Stone and it answers. A barely visible stream of damp sand rises from the floor to cover his hands in a film of mica. For the Colonel it’s like tearing apart wet cardboard.

Large chunks come loose from the door from both attacks but the door remains standing even as the gum handle falls off. However, something apparently noticed. The cylinders on the board start spinning. As they do, letters appear with the sound of each clap from beyond the entrance. One by one they come to a stop, top to bottom, left to right.

You hear the squeak of a rusty thing turn, then the door opens. The hurricane hound whistles fearfully from behind Liam.
