Anatole moves to the Summers Respite thread

Rhodes watched Ry'leh with an intensity bordering on fascination. "Good, good. As it should be." He noted the lack of mantle, already gears turning in his mind. Perhaps a talk with her would be in order - though not today, as he saw her scuttle off to the Food fight.

He inclines his head at Circe, smiling a little. "Grazie, vostra maestà. Ti lascio ai tuoi doveri... sono sicuro che hai molto da fare." It was such an easy trick, one that earned easy points for respect. As he and Sera moved away from the Queen, he heeded the announcements, wondering what parts of the room might be safe from the chaos. But of Course Sera was going to dive head first into things. He gave her a kiss in return as she made to head to the food fight. "Have fun, darling."

Worm gets a short chuckle. "Not bad, not bad. Can't say I have - had other jackets to arrange for later this year." The Summer then heads off to support his Court. Fighting really wasn't his style. Perhaps it was finally time to take up some training when the situation called it. But something civilized, of course.

He takes a moment to sense the connections through the Wyrdstone. All were joined, so far, and that was at least an easing thought. The Dread Lord makes his way over to it, stroking its strangely muscular form with two fingers. We know so much and yet so little... Cassandra and I will learn something about you, I am sure.

Still, this was a social event after all. He did not feel like trading barbs with Titania again, so he made his way over towards where the men of the Freehold seemed to be collecting.

James should have counted on something more active for Summer, last year had been paintball after all. But he’d rather risk missing out on some activities and show the proper deference to the event. Watch, next year you’ll be here ready to join everyone and it’ll be a more formal event. He smirked at the thought, a short snort following it as his head shook the thought away. The new person ran off to join the Food Fight, glad to see they were growing comfortable though there was still caution there for now.

“Oh, hey Sonnie. Hope you’ve been well, it’s good to see you again as always.” He returned the fingers guns with a wave. It had been awhile since he’d spent anytime with Claviger, her response to the food fight getting a genuine laugh out of him. She tended to raise spirits wherever she went.

He was slowly making his way to the bar when he saw Titania enter and appreciate the choice of dress. Thinking Sera was far braver than he to go into the middle of that in her nice outfit, Red seeming like the Summer color. He wasn’t the jealous type though he did feel something twist and swirl inside him as Cassandra blew off the lecherous Goblin. Though the Colonel seemed to brush it off with ease, that was good, he could finally join the others at the bar.

Gerrit followed Circe, his hands still busy with cleaning up the aftermath of his victory. Good thing there were so many napkins provided. He didn't speak Italian, so he only realized her plan when she headed for the bar.
Hopefully they had some non-alcoholic options.

His workout with Viv at an end, the Colonel strolls across the space toward the bar, uncapped flask in hand.

His other hand holds the suit jacket thrown over his shoulder, leaving him shirtless, his scarred, red flesh visible to all. The exposure does not seem to bother the Goblin in the slightest.

The games continue into the night, with laughter and good cheer, some return to their beds with a stomach ache, others, a little zapped, or tie-dyed in frosting. Others, have uncovered secrets and mysteries of their fellow Freeholder's journeys through the Hedge this past Spring, and other still have taken the Solstice as a night of rest, assured that the Changing of the Seasons continues, the Cycle unbroken.

They are safe.
