She tilts her head to the side, breathing out.
No point in arguing with a Summer, they had the tact of an elephant in a China shop.
"Do what you think is right. If you wanna consult them, go ahead. Either way, there are going to be consequences"

His anger rose again. Not answering when asked her plan if they found the curse or the one who laid it and now not simply conceding with meaningless platitudes about there would be consequences. He KNEW there would be consequences. There always were. That’s what risk assessment was for. However, it felt like Titania was willing to Ram take lead again, so that he would be the one to take blame in case those consequences went wrong.

“I already did what I thought was right and it blew up in my face,” he grunted “You think it’s a bad idea? You think they’ll kill her?” he asked point blank.

“And you still haven’t said what you think we should do if we locate the cursed object or the curse caster.”

They wanted a plan? A non-spur of the moment Ogrish plan? Then they were going to have to hammer out a plan.

"First of all, we should charm Frances in telling us what's going on. As for the threat, we have no idea what this is about. The first thing we should do is ask whether anybody can reassemble the item, so that we could study it. If everything else fails, we could always get ourselves invited to Frances' dreams and see what lies deep underneath", there were plenty of contracts that could oil the gears, so to speak.

"Reassemble a possible magical item?" Sonnie asked, considering Titania's suggestion, "Sounds like maybe Circe? She's got a whole forge for constructing hedgespun. I mean, usually weapons, but maybe she can fix a cursed necklace?"

She paused, "Or not cursed, as it turned out."

[Ram]

Ram didn’t follow Titania’s thought process at all, as he felt she continued to stubbornly avoid his questions. She wanted to look into the amulet but she implied they shouldn’t go to the experts in Autumn. Straight up wouldn’t say if she thought they would kill Frances or not. She wanted to talk to Frances but didn’t want to plan what to do if that failed or if they had to confront whatever was behind this. He could only conclude that it was because she didn’t like what those answers would be.

Violence.

Which meant that when things did go wrong, he’d probably have to take those actions and the condescension that would likely follow. Because she refused to acknowledge reality. He couldn’t help but wonder if this was an aspect of madness.

Fine. They had their roles. He’d play his. Apologize. Guard the talks. And plan for when things turned ugly.

“Alright, I’ll buy the apology gift, send the necklace to Circe, and we go talk with Frances. That the plan?”

[Titania]

"Sometimes the best course of action is to follow the path of least resistance. Just let events unfold and react. In this case, let's just approach her and see what we can gather, no need to press the issue further or escalate", she says in a comforting tone.

With the necklace off to circe, all the group can do is wait, plan, and prepare for their confrontation with the mortal.
