Circle of creation

The Circle of Creation is the gathering hub for all Pentacle mages in the Sacramento Concilium, with chapter houses for all five Orders inside.

Located east of Sacramento and far outside the prying eyes of the inner city, the Circle of Creation awaits the mages of Sacramento. Despite being a replica of the Westminster Abbey, the sleepers who come by never seem to notice it. The wards built into the structure have made sure of this. To all but the Pentacle the Circle is essentially invisible, ensuring the safety of those who enter and engage with one another. Whether it had always been here for the Awakened was hard to say now, but it was the site that the Awakened gather to mingle and discuss official matters.



It is a time for simply for mingling among the Awakened. The common area is large and open, but over the course of the month it's inevitable that people may bump into each other. The official concerns of the Consilium are put on hold as a more lighthearted experience is shared among this community of the Wise. Ultimately, this is the opportunity to let the proverbial hair down. How much so is up to them.

Also a reminder, Sanctuary threads are not official Consilium threads. Those under an incarceration sentence may not attend a Sanctuary thread.



Sancturary is not a single event, or formal Consilium. It's a compression of time to represent the comings, goings, and intersections of Awakened throughout the month at the Cirlce.

[Puck]

Puck stood to one side of the Circle. In jeans and a black T shirt, he was dressed more casually then before. Which was closer to his M.O. anyway. No signs of magic beyond his regular three rituals was evident and the Enchanter seemed a lot more relaxed then he had at the official meeting not so long ago.

With no one else around, the Enchanter pulled out his phone and looked for something to read.

[Kaze]

Kaze enters whistling, softly not obnoxiously, but clearly enough for it to be easy for anyone to pick out the tune if they were so inclined. He's wearing comfortably loose, black trousers, athletic shoes and a solid black, cotton shirt with short sleeves.

He stops when he sees there is someone inside already.

"Oh hey, how are you doing?" Kaze asks Puck.

[Winter]

Been awhile since he's engaged in the pretense of a social life with the rest of his peers.
He stands before the circle in solemn admiration, his casual attire not matching his disposition, before he steps in.
He draws a cross on his forehead before he heads straight to the front benches.
"Hello", he says acknowledging the other two.

[Puck]

Puck's attention swiftly rises from his phone at the sound of Kaze and Winter's voice.

"Sup." He gives the Mighty a proper chin up before his attention settles on Winter. "Been a while. How have you been?"

Gotta start the conversation somewhere.

[Kaze]

"Hi, Winter." Kaze says, acknowledging the Guardian. He has a seat nearby, not isolating himself, but not pushing in either, since it looks like Puck might have something he needs to talk to the Guardian about.

"Quiet." Kaze remarks, on the relative lack of activity in the Circle today.

[Winter]

"It's been alright, quiet even", he answers politely, "how are you? City been treating you well?", he nods to Kaze acknowledging him.
"Low attendance today", he says referring to the hall.

[Popsicle]

She felt lightheaded, drifting, dragging her body but unable to stop. By now she should have been long sleeping it off: the speed, the alcohol, the excess. Her legs hurt, her eyes gave it away, but the excitement and restlessness brought her to the Sanctuary – it would be her first visit. Sleep would have to wait for now.

Popsicle arrives at the circle wearing her street style, a mean pair of black boots, a pair of denim shorts and a black T peeking underneath a loose fitting bomber. There was still the vague smell of tobacco and spilled drinks about her but she thought nothing of it.

Besides her streetwear she had also complemented her attire with something less mundane. Her taste was improved, allowed her to get intimate with resonance and understand all the reasons why, and then fortune’s protection – never leaving her sanctum again without these.

Noticing Puck and Kaze she approaches the trio, there was another mage she hadn’t yet met.

”Hi Kaze, hi Puck! Nice meeting you here!” The young mage smiles and proceeds addressing the stranger.

”Hi, I’m Popsicle!” She warms, hoping to get a reply and an introduction.

[Aurora]

Stopping by the Circle after all these years was like second nature. Though she really didn’t feel up to it. After the bullshit that was last month, she was feeling less cheerful and more sit at home and drink. So maybe she had a drink before she left. Loosen her up a bit, make the drama easier to deal with. Or something.

But she did have a meeting later, so she went with a more summer casual. A light white dress with her hair pulled up.

Walking in, she was surprised to not only see Winter, cause where had he disappeared to, but a new face. There was something mesmerizing about her, and maybe her and Kaze could fight for the cover of Awakened Weekly or something. Long legs carry her to small gathering and a brief smile was offered.

[Corn]

Corn shows up from the Athenaum, dressed in not-formal attire - a tracksuit to see who is coming and who is going. Noticing the councilors he waves to them a greeting. Popsicle , Kaze and Winter also get polite greetings.
"It seems we're growing in numbers again" Corn said to the gathered mages.
