With the mood visibly cooled off in the main hall, she decides to join the guys at the bar.

Titania arrived, gleaming and radiant as ever. But as soon as Gerrit could wave her hello, she went off to follow Ram to the other group already. Which was par on course for the Fairest, apparently.

His heart went out to the new arrival - he could very much imagine how nervous she must feel. He tried to give her an encouraging smile, although he realized how scary that could look coming from him. "Uh, nice to meet you R'lyeh." That strange name didn't ring any bell for the Ogre with the very sheltered taste in literature or pop culture. Seraphina was already ready to take her under her wings, so any deeper conversation would have to wait.

That left very few people, but maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Didn't he mean to get a chance to talk to Sonnie Wu for quite some time? He turned more clearly to the Beast. "Uh, so I know you might want to keep an eye on Seraphina, but I've been meaning to chat with you for a bit. You know, to get to know you? So, uhm, maybe we could stay close enough to Seraphina for you to be able to do your duties but also be able to talk a bit?" He realized he was rambling a bit and got himself to stop.
The Ogre cleared his throat and started again. "Want me to look for some ice cream for us and find you outside the office?"

"Nice..ta, meatcha...tooo...?" the inflection makes it sound like a question. The stop, starts make it feel all the more awkward in her mouth.

Anything else left there turned to ash and dust and choked on as she shuffles on after the radiantly Crowned Treasured.

"Hi!" Sonnie responded to Rlyeh with a smile. There was a slight twitch of one hand when the Elemental bared her teeth, some defensive animal instinct at the sight of brandished fangs. She was also, however, part human and a trained fighter, so her reaction was no more than that. She was determined to remain friendly.

It was her natural state, after all.

Gerrit was not wrong. She indeed intended to follow along after her Queen. The Beast had a duty to perform, after all. She paused in her steps and looked at the Ogre, blinking her eyes in confusion, "Umm, right now?" Her head swiveled back towards the retreating Fairest and Elemental. In a few moments, they'd be indoors and out of her sight.

"Uh, sure. Ice cream kiosk is over yonder," her tail pointed the way. "Get me a couple scoops of rocky road? This shouldn't take long. Be back out soon as Riley is sworn to the rock." Yeah, she mispronounced the newcomer's name. Whether it was intentional was hard to tell with Sonnie.

Maybe that was the point.

In any case, she made after Sera and the outsider/soon-to-be-freeholder.

Sonnie slips over to Paperwork for a bit

It didn't feel great to have basically everybody scatter from him - so much for socializing. Don't take yourself too seriously - they had their reasons and none of them are about you. Right, yes. So not to be discouraged Gerrit nodded at Sonnie and went to get some ice cream - rocky road for the Beast, vanilla for the Ogre.

Will rejoin after one or two rounds to account for the time to find a place selling.
