    "I have a sister out there, she wears no Auspice, but has a measure of Renown among the People. There is always another path to walk, and always those who will lie and try to hide your choices from you." The brooding Rahu says no more, but offers a small 'salute' between brothers old and new. He gives the wounded Aneshega one last glance, an unspoken offer of escort to safety, before departing to follow the rest of the pack. With their wounded and their pups is where his muscle will be needed most, he has nothing more to offer by dwelling here.

    He jogs off after the pack, grabbing his discarded sledgehammer, snapping the handle, and tossing it into the gas station dumpster as he marches off to follow the pack into the hisil.

    1 success to step sideways

    Be it the eerie essence of the place or the weakness of the locus, Bleeds Well enters the hisil slowly.

    The fallen man just barely shakes his head back and forth as Tiny provides a lifeline on a piece of paper. "Not that easy" he mutters as his body continues to heal at a rate that would raise far to many questions around humans.

    ~~~
    For Tiny it takes a moment or two to acclimate then things start falling in place. Almost literally for some of the..debris around the room. People have died in here, not just in the material world here but in the Hisil here. Something pulled them over and then.. the people died. Death hangs heavy in this room and almost seems to pull the room down into somewhere deeper and darker than the Hisil can normally be.
    To Bird and Emily the room just feels ugly and bad. Scary to possibly, depending on what they've experienced before.
    "Not the silver. This place, seen shit like it before. Bad shit." Chris replies to Emily in a quiet voice that carries across the room to Tiny and Bird. From her glance Emily can see that Chris is still bleeding though very slowly. That's normal for silver right?..right?
    A quick look outside of the basement, through stairs that seem to take several heartbeats longer to climb than they should, finds no hostile spirits or Uratha. In fact its to quiet outside of the gas station. From the looks of the basement it seems like the local spirits have been scared off by whatever it is that resides there.
    ~~~

    "What we do to traitors is worse than what we do to you." The fallen Anshenga says from the ground. He's clearly not getting up while the pack is nearby despite the offers and words.

    Aaron looks down at the Anshenga. "Not really sure what gets through to these folks." The Talon speaks as though the Pure isn't there. "I can help drag him back to your turf if you want?" A question asked to Hector. "Or we can just leave him here. I'm sure one of them will be around to see if we killed him or not." At those words teeth flash into a predatory grin at the Anshenga before falling.

    I'm sorry for being away for to long. We can move this towards a close and onto another thread.

    Emily has several tattoos:
    - a sleeve of vines and flowers starting on her right shoulder and ending at her wrist
    - a collection of stars on her left wrist, tapering up her arm
    - flowers on her right foot around her ankle
    - A crescent moon on her left shoulderblade

    Emily wracks her brains... there was one thing that it reminded her of. "Fuck.... you don't mean.... the murder spirit?" It was years ago, her first hunt with the Call, and it was a nasty one.

    "We need to get out of here," she mutters darkly. "How do you feel like riding a dire wolf?" The tone tries to inject a bit of levity.

    Keep people's Hopes up, that was the key.

    I'm good to change scenes ! Emily's priority is GTFO, for what it's worth - but only with Chris.

    "Nah. Leave him here. I'm not interested in carrying the extra weight."

    Hector has ceased to consider the broken Anshega a threat.

    The parlay seems to be ending. Hector gives Aaron a simple nod of acknowledgement and then pauses to get his bearings. His eyes narrow.

    "We should catch up with the Call."

    It was clear from his posture - and the way he spoke - that the unspoken offer of hospitality and rest was still an option for Aaron if he so chose.

    Sounds good.

    Bird spies Emily checking Chris' wound again and approaches, quiet and intense. The blood is clearly still flowing. Not Good.

    Softly, to Chris: "We'll move soon," he says to both of them. "Let me get a look at you first, brother..." He doesn't know this wolf. But Chris is a member of the pack. And a fellow New Moon.

    The rest of the Call is on the way. They have a moment to at least get a handle on Chris' injuries. Bird gets to work.

    Better to explain what was going on here later, where whatever it was couldn't snatch them out of existence.

    Across the hisil Bleeds catches up to the slow moving triage party. With a quick shake of the shake of his head, that moves down his body in waves, Bleeds Well goes from man to wolf. He sniffs around the strange basement.

    Dramatic Failure!

    Chris shifts uncomfortably and responds to Emily quietly. "No that...thing was horrifying but not, much worse. And only as long as the jokes wait till after we get home."

    After a short bit of first-aid Bird manages to slow the trickle of blood that has been oozing out of Chris but it's obvious that the Talon will need to lay low for a bit once everyone is home.

    The visiting Talon returns the nod. "Safe hunting Hector of Sacramento." Without a glance Aaron turns and makes his way away from the fallen Pure and the pack of Forsaken. Presumably back towards home.

    To Bleeds Well... this is what the Hisil looks like when a predator sets up a proper den. Everything is as it should be.

    The journey back to Home is uneventful. It's known that silver wounds in the Hisil are a siren's call and yet no spirits approach the pack. Instead spirits seem to actively avoid the pack more than usual.

    Apologies for how long this scene has taken. I'm closing it out to get it into continuity and because the pack is clear of the present danger.
    No excuse for how late this is. I'll get a post up in wolf ooc.
