Dirt Nap slips into the postal annex in the early morning hours to check a post office box. There is a letter inside, the envelope of high quality indicates who it is from, though no one else has the address to write him.

He pockets the envelope and leaves immediately though not carelessly; not without being mindful of his surroundings and any witnesses. There are cameras of course, though they are not his primary concern.

Out and away, he finds a place of concealment, and changes into an owl. He flies out into the surrounding countryside, where no lights of the city spoil the pitch dark.

Then he finds a spot with no direct sight line to him, and changes back into a human seeming form. He reads the letter.

He considers replying, and decides the best course is to show up at the time and date in the letter.

No reason to put things off or assume the trip will be an easy one, just because he has an extra day or two to make it.

Dirt Nap takes the form of an owl again and takes wing to the north and east. It's going to be a tiring trip, with running as a coyote in some places and flying the rest, and hunting, of course. Plenty of hunting will be required.
