Circle of creation

The Circle of Creation is the gathering hub for all Pentacle mages in the Sacramento Concilium, with chapter houses for all five Orders inside.

Located east of Sacramento and far outside the prying eyes of the inner city, the Circle of Creation awaits the mages of Sacramento. Despite being a replica of the Westminster Abbey, the sleepers who come by never seem to notice it. The wards built into the structure have made sure of this. To all but the Pentacle the Circle is essentially invisible, ensuring the safety of those who enter and engage with one another. Whether it had always been here for the Awakened was hard to say now, but it was the site that the Awakened gather to mingle and discuss official matters.

It is a time for simply for mingling among the Awakened. The common area is large and open, but over the course of the month it's inevitable that people may bump into each other. The official concerns of the Consilium are put on hold as a more lighthearted experience is shared among this community of the Wise. Ultimately, this is the opportunity to let the proverbial hair down. How much so is up to them.

Also a reminder, Sanctuary threads are not official Consilium threads. Those under an incarceration sentence may not attend a Sanctuary thread.

Sancturary is not a single event, or formal Consilium. It's a compression of time to represent the comings, goings, and intersections of Awakened throughout the month at the Cirlce.

[Winter]

It's been a busy month. One that hasn't afforded him much time for leisure time or for dealing with the Awakened.
As March and winter give way to Spring and April. He makes his way toward the vaulted halls of the Circle.
Blue Jeans and a shirt tucked to his elbows,, a cigarette in his mouth. He goes straight for the front benches.

[Eulogy]

Mordechai walked into the Circle with a little more confidence this being his second time here. He had been busy the last few months, his non-awakened business taking a gross amount of his daily time. He realized that he had been neglectful in his other duties. To that end he aimed to be early in an attempt to recover any good graces that may have been lost in his absence. As usual he wore a button up white shirt with black slacks and a matching waist coat and tie to lend a "business professional" look to his appearance."

When he walked in he saw a familiar face. "Ah Damien hello. Long time no see. I hope you have been keeping well." he said pleasantly to Winter with a friendly smile. It had been a few months since their shared will working on Halloween but Mordy remember the experience fondly.

[Aurora]

Beginning of the month…which meant stopping by the Circle. Sometimes there was others there, sometimes not. Which would today be?

Feeling like dressing up a bit, she threw on a new suede wrap skirt with a cream-colored top. Boots and her hair down completed the look. Why did she want to dress up? She wasn’t sure, just seemed like something fun to do. And with the weather warming up, it was time to celebrate! She was definitely a summer girl, shorts and bathing suits.

Walking in, the sound of her heels announcing her, she was pleasantly surprised to see Winter and that guy from Halloween. What was his name? She wonders, her memory failing her.

But she still waves and offers a smile, moving to stand near the front. Taking a water bottle out of her bag, she takes a sip, “Hi!” general greeting.

[Kaze]

Kaze enters wearing his usual solid black shirt and trousers and athletic shoes. He's got a sling bag over one shoulder and moves smoothly to take a seat nearby but not immediately in front next to Aurora or Winter.

"Hey." He says, grinning.

[Eulogy]

Mordechai turned his attention away from Winter when he heard the Rap, Tap, Tapping sound approach. His eyes glimpsed the figure of Aurora approaching. He could not help but linger on the riveting woman. Her outfit screamed, "Someone who cared about her appearance." he stood mute until the stunning woman spoke, only then did he respond. "Oh, hello Madison." the mage said. "It is very nice to see you again. Might I say that skirt is on the point, I hope you don't find me too forward but you have an amazing sense of style that completely brings out the best in each article of clothing" He takes a breath and continues, his voice lowered, a sheen of blush on his cheeks drawing attention to his sudden embarrassment. "Perhaps I could persuade you to take a poor sod such as myself and help me in the areas of style I am lacking in."


And then he walked in. An almost perfect specimen of a beautiful male entered and Mordechai's confidence left him like the air leaving a deflated balloon. He quietly watched Kaze approach, examining each step the man took, every little nuance of appeal the man extruded. Quietly calculating how to use every appealing feature in his own life. When the fit man spoke his greeting, Mordechai didn't hesitate, he responded in a friendly tone with a smile on his face with "Kaze, so nice to see you again. I hope you have had a fine and productive couple of months."

Lipstick on a pig comes to his mind as Anima strides into the Circle with his head held high. He tries to shove down the self-destructive thoughts. Fake it till you make it.

Eyes wander over Sacramento’s scariest guardian, noting the jeans, as he looks for a seating behind Aurora. The shaman dressed in his usual a suit just out fashion, attaché case in hand. Today his clothes seem to fit just a bit better. As Anima sits, crossing one leg over another he tries to catch Kaze’s eye to offer a friendly wave.

Then there is the gentleman politely talking to Kaze. The man gets studied like a specimen under a microscope. They hadn’t met yet, perfect chance to try a new attitude, Anima offers a polite smile.

You haven't used any Power Icons, thus, haven't spent any Mana. Not for the Spell, not for the Cloak.

You will spend the Mana now.

You cannot spend Mana for the Duration. That is a 1E Armour mechanic, not something you can add onto any spell you like. The Duration of successfully casted spells are listed with the spell.

Spells Casted in-Scene happen when you roll for them. For them to have been Casted before, you would have needed to have them as Ritual Spells. Which means, there hasn't been enough time for Anima to lob High Speech into this Cast, unless he's been standing around casting this outside the Circle.

I'm assuming you're wanting to cast Supreme Augmentation as a Spirit 4 spell, but you haven't rolled for Paradox Which means the ST gets to roll for you without mitigation. You're very lucky that when I rolled it didn't result in a Havoc.

You also haven't stated which Social Attributes you've raised. Which could be placed inside of the Spell bbcode along with the spell name, and a link to the spell as well as the note marking it as a Clocked spell. If you do this, each post going forward will need this code copy+pasted

Do not change your stats in your Minisheet like you have. It give the impression that these stats are your stats for each and every scene which is false. If you want to change your descriptors for the Scenes in which you use this spell, then include them in the Spell bbcode, or a [MTA] tag. If you do not want anyone to forget, you need to remember to continually copy+paste the effects/changes in with new posts.

[Winter]

Unusual for him, but this time he welcomes the company, and you could almost tell he's cracked a smile at Aurora.
He moves a bit, leaving the newcomers enough space.
"I have been, well. Thank you. I take you've been quite busy yourself?", he asks, eager to keep tabs on the more discreet members of the Consilium.

Discrete is not a word he would employ to describe Aurora. Overwhelming perhaps. He nods to the woman, "Hey, how are you doing?"
The other man's speaks the truth, but it's not something he would have delivered so brazenly, he's always been uneasy about the topic.

"Magus Kaze", he juts at the man, "how are you faring?"

Anima remembers he might have left the stove on and walks out hurridly.
