Sonnie, smiling pleasantly, strolled towards the grey-hooded figure. It was a bit of multitasking, trying to look nonchalant while also tensing up for a potential foot chase. After all, the chances were good this guy would try to book it.

Good luck outrunning the parkour monkey.

It was instinct that made her look. The flicker of his eyes, paired with their widening, and the Beast reflexively turned to glance behind her. Even as she did so, she knew it was a possible distraction. Some effort by the man to give himself a slight head-start. Sonnie wasn't egotistical, but she was proud of her physical prowess, so she was confidant enough in her ability to catch a runner that she let herself turn and look.

Circe, checking her sightlines, and following the Grey Hood's she notices it exactly when Sonnie does. Somehow, this mortal, could see the Monkey's tail.

With their attention elsewhere, the Grey Hood seems inactive, standing still and not doing anything at all.

She glanced behind her again. What was... oh. Her tail.

Strange how she'd gotten used to it. It didn't even register at first, like looking at her own hand or foot. Just something she expected to be there. And he saw it.

Just like that other hood for a year ago. Dammit. She should have remembered that they could see Fae Miens. At least some of them. Should have hardened the Mask, dummy. Well, too late now. She'd just have to roll with it.

"Hola, amigo!" She continued her friendly approach. "Que pasa?" And that used up all the Spanish she knew. Why was she speaking in Spanish? Why not?!

Sonnie might have missed it, but Circe doesn't, the Grey Hood is fiddling with something in his pocket, and with her knowhow and keep eye, she knows he isn't holding a gun...from the pressed shape of his hand against the light fabric of the hoodie pocket looks like he's holding a phone.

There is confusion and a stage hesitance when Sonnie brings her smiling face to the fore and goes in for a Spring Special. Straight up talking and seeing if that'll work. It might have, if the Grey Hood's eyes weren't drawn by Circe loosing her Fae Feature.

Terrorhorrordenial wash over his eyes. He shakes his head. "You monsters can't! You Can't!" comes a quiet voice, all urgency, voice cracking, The Grey Hood pivots, and swings himself around and starts to run!

Note, we're not under any neon lights, that was a metaphor to show how much the grey hoodie attracted Sonnie's attention, Sorry for the confusion!

And GH is running away! Roll Stamina + Athletics to catch him! He needs to get a total of 14suxx to get away! And the Lost (If they give chase) need to accumulate 9suxx total to chase him down!

"Hey! Wait!" Sonnie called out as Hoodie made a run for it. She said it half-heartedly at best, though. The idea of a foot pursuit was something she kinda sorta wanted to happen? Fast, exciting, adventurous! Yeah, it was gonna be fun!

There was no time for any clever quips, though. The chase was on! She was off and running without even checking to see what Circe wanted to do.
