Jennifer remained sitting off to the side, watching the Kindred swirl and socialize. Her dark eyes narrow as someone in a red dress enters. The Nosferatu half turns to scan the room, reminding herself of who wasn't present. She saw no outward sign this newcomer was of her Blood, but she did not want another scene to interupt her Grace. Jennifer stood and approached Sister Adira . In ideal times, someone would introduce the two of them. Yet Jennifer did not see anyone fitting the description near them, so she pushed through the inelegant situation.

"Good evening, madam," Jennifer greeted the woman in the red dress. Her Curse asserts herself, as her voice sounds like a snake through the dying fall leaves. "- I don't recognize you. I suspect you are new to Sacramento?"

As with meeting Mr. Northbridge, she speaks slightly slower. She has some filler words in the beginning so that the new Kindred has time to adjust to her Cursed voice.

"I am Lady Notary Hazelton, Priscus of the Nosferatu. In this Domain, the Domain of Prince Alessandra Antinori, the quickest route one gains Acknowledgement is through one's Priscus. There is a unique Law of this Domain that one does not approach the Prince without being summoned by the Prince."

Normally one would use more finesse with the Laws, yet she did not want a repeat performance.

[Sister Adira]

"Lady Priscus Hazelton." The woman did her best to hide the shudder that came from the sound of the other woman's voice, but some of it showed through, her composure not quite carrying as well as she hoped. "An important Law, and one that should be implemented wider, perhaps." She curtseyed to the Priscus.
"Sister Confessor Adira of the future Parish of Dark Saint Longinus, Anointed representative of the Rightful Monachal Lancea et Sanctum. The Second Estate has identified Sacremento as a Rightfully Unconquered city, and dispatched myself to support the First Estate in spiritual matters."
Her hand gripped her testament, and she felt the shape of it bringing her strength. "While her Ladyship, the Honorable Prince Alessandra Antinori may not wish to acknowledge me personally, I would hope that the First Estate will use it's unflinching unity to ensure all will be made aware of the Church Eternal's presence re-establishing here." There was no sarcasm to her voice, she seemed to believe in the Invictus to the level she was conveying.
"But I know someone of your standing should not have her attention turned to inductions and introductions. If you would be so kind as to identify a member of the Court who would escort me to the Priscus of the Daeva, it would be appreciated."

“Well met.’ The Lady greeted with a minute incline of her head. The new Daeva was not yet Acknowledged. “Yes, I agree. The Law keeps the Domain moving smoothly.” Her voice slithered in approval.

The conversation with Sister Adira completed. the Lady Notary moved back to her seated area calmly. The Nosferatu Lady resumed watching the other predators swirl around each other, her face smooth and composed. Displaying her outwards demeanor as confident.

[JC Smith]

JC came away from the piano and his conversation with the Prince and made his way to the Sanctified woman. Internally, part of him hesitated and warned him not to speak with her. Better to leave her to her delusions and pride. Leave her to die in her ignorance. Maybe he'd even be the one to do it. Wouldn't that be nice.

Tense, relax. Don't let the Beast call the shots. Strive to do better. Be better.

“Sister Adria,” JC greeted the Daeva as he approached. With an effort to try and make his small smile welcoming. He didn’t bother with too much song and dance, pretending he didn’t know her name. There wasn’t a lot of time for that right now. “I’m JC Smith, clan Gangrel. I thought I’d say hello before court ended and let you know about a town called Davis east of Sacramento outside the domain-limits. It was where I fed before I was acknowledged and was granted the hunting rights that go along with it.” Again, maybe not the most subtle, but it let her know some of the basics she could get in trouble with if she didn’t. Just like Dirt Nap had made sure JC didn’t accidently poach when he’d first arrived. It was something he could do. Even he'd rather see her bleed for breaking the law. "Not the easiest place to hunt but there are more than a few bars there," he added helpfully.

Maybe she'd think it was a trick. Maybe a trap. Alessandra had explained how he could sometimes come off. Yet he couldn't control how she saw him.

The Nosferatu's ears caught something interesting and she half turned, watching the group of Milton, Priscus Durant and Mable for a moment. She was signaling where her interest was a bit, but it wasn't often she heard these things discussed out in the open like this. She faced forward, giving a last glance over the assembled Kindred. Two priscus had not attended. Alice as well. Curious, that.

She rose and moved closer to the Prince, pausing about seven feet from the Apex Predator. The Nosferatu Lady gracefully moved into a curtsy and remained still for a few beats of a mortal's heart. She rose and gave the Prince a more familiar nod if the Prince had the time to glance her way.
Jennifer turned to nod - and caught herself instinctively scanning for Dirt Nap. That would take some time to adjust... she frowned slightly.
The brunette nods to Alexander Moore and Quinn Durant , the Mekhet Priscus. Her eyes linger on Milton. Then she surveys Mr. Smith was speaking to the newcomer.

Jennifer strode out of Court with confidence.
