She nods. By now most the wolves and the Effigy had been dealt with. What remained was the mundane side, the cult.
Of course it would be easier said than done. People could be a lot more insidious and violent than a pack of hungry briar wolves. And besides, nobody knew how deep their collective derangement went. Ideally, she'd be able to get close to them and persuade them to shift their effort to a more worthy pursuit.
Ideally.
Disarming the cult was the stepping stone in their attempts to weaken the Hunter.

Yamiyo's arrival - or rather: her outfit - took Gerrit aback and before he knew it (or without knowing why he should) he pocketed the Succubus' mace. "Sure." He idly wondered how he could have mistaken her for his wife. Sure, the was sexy, but it was almost too cheap-
Nope. Wrong time, wrong place.

Circe's and Sonnie's exposition brought him back on track. He was a bit uneasy about the Beast's phrasing - they were out in public, kind of - but he didn't want to make a fuss out of it. Besides, the vagueness added some plausible deniability. The surprising sound made Gerrit flinch and he quickly looked over to its source. When no immediate danger was obvious, he nodded at the others to show he hadn't any more questions for now. Then he went over to where the rat came from and took a look around.

"So if it has been a year isn't it quite likely that they have either moved territory or gotten far bigger?" Giving them all a worried look. "One year for a normal group can be a lot but a year with the aid experts like us could give now that is scary." If one of them could see them so did that either scream pledge or a hidden one of them which meant that bastard could enhance with more pledges both of which were not favorable thoughts.

Giving Gerrit a subtle nod.
"Thank you, feel free to use it."

"So you have been the one talking about this the most, do you have any good more recent leads for where to start and should we maybe" shifting her signing to make a mask over her face whilst making sure to speak low enough that no one not close by would be able to hear them "hide?"

She keeps her eyes and ears peeled for trouble. "I was tempted ta be yer Internet overseer on this ta cyber fight buuuut this ways is more fun."

[Saber Sloth]

Circe sees an alley, grungy, dirty, and wet alley. Broken glass, bottles and windows. Rotten boards, nailed up over the windows and the doors. Some that wouldn't stop any entry. As a few of the doors would open in and not out. Despite the scattered people on the streets, a fair few seem to be passing by the mouth of the alley....


For Gerrit, the rat had come from under what made the stoop of the door the Lost had used to flee into the Hedge when the Grey Hoods had chased them down. Up from the concrete blocks that make the stoop, Gerrit sees a door, striking in it's obvious newness, and it's paired with a shiny new doorknob and a shinier new lock...

"Well, time to get started," she said with a nod.

After a few moments, she looked about the neighborhood. Seconds ticked on as she considered just how to start.

Finally, her face lit up as inspiration struck. "I'm gonna go see if the street art is still there!" It seemed like a plan, anyway. After spinning about to get her bearings, the Beast started towards the appropriate alleyway. "Tally ho!"

"Cazzo?" Sonja was yelling and rushing toward danger? And really? Why was Circe surprised at this, she knew Sonja Wu. Having not seen any dangers or evidence she quickly follows the monkey to tap her on the shoulder, hoping to get her attention.

"Given what happened before, I think we should opt fer more stealth and less loud," she cautions the Spring, "We want ta find 'em first not the other way around. Save yer bounce and noise fer their heads."

Because the Summer fully favored violence. So long as Sonja goes toward this graffiti spot, Circe will be watching the alleyways around the two of them. "So lead on McMonkey."

Gerrit looked at the door with furrowed brows - well, whatever scar tissue passed for his brows anyway. That door definitely seemed out of place - perhaps some renewed and improved security measures? Could be nothing, but just in case..

"Hey, come take a look at this." He turned towards the others, noticing Sonnie and Circe taking off to somewhere. Did I miss something? He considered leaving the door and following the others, but first he waited for someone to affirm or disregard his findings.

Gerrit's call to attention gets all her focus. Though, it's not the door or the handle she notices.
But the Rat.
"Aaah", she lets out a yelp while flailing her legs to kick the invisible aggressor. "Monster, monster"

Watching the group split up, watching between the two not sure where to go but ultimately deciding to go watch what the ogre had found.

Giggling and trying to hold herself back from laughing as Titania kicks around, looking around wondering if she saw something or if it was just the little rat that scared her.
"What are you kicking? I cannot see anything but a little rat around here." Rats were nothing new, heck she had been ready to live on the street for a while and plenty of places she grew up at were far from ideal so a rat or raccoon were pretty much old friends in a sense.

Watching what the ogre points out, her eyes eagerly rising as she softly touches the look and watches the door.
"This might be wrong but in case we really need in so could I give this lock a workover." Watching the two "I will not go in first though."

To ask in advance, in case she does decide to try and pick the lock how many successes are needed for it? Assuming that the extended task rules on page 74-75 of the core book are used.
