Quinn watched Mr. Kowalsic for a second. One corner of her lips slowly upturned in an impish half smile. "Of course, Mr. Kowalsic. I can always be counted upon." She gave him a deep and respectful nod. There. Good deed for the night complete. Joyest of all joys.

Quinn wasn't surprised when Her Grace left. She didn't blame her. Problems needed solutions. Without solutions all you had was fretting, and running down leads. Quinn assumed that's where her head was at right now. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. It was a test of her leadership. Stability was everything. WIth food sources endangered, well that was a big goddamn problem.

Quinn's gaze inevitably followed the others as DIrt Nap and Maeve had a bit of tense small talk, which mellowed out rather quickly under the withering stares of the Kindred present. Quinn did not give them a dirty look, after all, they reigned themselves in without anyone having to interject. That was about as good as it gets when decorum got rocky. Maybe if her thoughts hadn't have been so dark she might have found the humor in the situation. She loved to pull Dirt Nap's tail too.
