The night before, JC had noticed the bartender give him a grateful nod and 'Thanks for the heads up' about the passed out man. Messes were best when cleaned promptly before it gets out of control. As JC is going about his normal routine after the sun sets, curious words reach him from a TV set. A lovely Latina woman in a cherry red suit stands outside of the very bar that JC Smith had been at the night before. Crime tape is now across the door and the bar appears empty. "The body of a Richard Harper was found in the Wrangler Bar restroom late last night. Police are investigating all available needs. The bar hasn't had any trouble since the Con blew through last year, bringing in out of towners. The police chief has no comment on why an otherwise healthy young man passed away after having too much to drink...'
The news moved onto the next story of some one angry over the tow lines being painted in their neighborhood. It definitely sounds as though there might be trouble as JC had been in that bar... could that have been his meal last night? Plenty of people passed out in bars and outside of bars. Maybe it had nothing to do with him. Yet the bartender had looked at him and appeared grateful. JC's description might have been offered up as a witness. Or possibly the last person who saw Mr. Harper alive!
