She knows this is a museum and she shouldn't be singing or making noises. But again, this place is almost empty, and she figures nobody would raise any objection.
It's funny how the most interesting places are also the most desolate ones. She assumes it's due to the messy and always on the run lifestyle most people lead, always chasing something, hanging by the thread of their mobile phones.
If only they knew what they were missing.
Anyway, she's promised the Succubus she'll give her a couple of lessons. She figured the first one should be a view only - no touching - endeavour. The second that will follow, she has already planned out, it's gonna be in their hollow, maybe in the dreaming.
But whatever.
She stands in front of a display showing the reconstructed bones of somebody affected by somatomegaly. The Sacramento Valley Medical Society Museum aren't the hallowed halls of Cambridge or Oxford, so she picked a casual fit.
Still, it's hard for her to look out of place.

A museum, it was not exactly what she had expected then again her thought were that it would be sitting with books and study for the most part and surely Titania had something in mind for why just this place.

Wearing her favorite attire as she walks up towards her teacher, still a bit nervous and anxious they had never really been alone together before and their interactions rather brief so this would be interesting. Feeling a bit surprised to see her dressed so casually now that was something new luckily that meant that her own outfit weren't wrong in any way though.
"Sorry it took me a bit did you wait long?"

Looking at the display and starting to read the sign about it whilst realizing that this were her firs time in a museum of this sort and her first time in a museum by her own will only having been there with her school before.

The succubus' sudden appearance has her startled, almost jittery in her own feet.
However the look of surprise is quickly surmounted by acknowledgement. "No, not at all", she says.
For good or ill, she's always in the correct place at the right time. And so she approaches the girl with both her arms stretched, offering a hug and a kiss on each of her cheeks.
She marvels a bit at the shorter girl's selection of attire, but the impression is short lived. Instead, she turns left and taps her slender fingers against the glass case.
"You ever seen one?", she says pointing at the skull.

Sighing in relief as she misses how she startles the bright one, taking a quick gasp of air to calm herself down.
"That's a relief to hear." She hated making people wait still it was a bit to get here and she didn't really know her way that well in these parts.

Feeling a bit surprised as she sees the stretched out arms, still not one to turn such a thing down especially not from a beautiful lady like Titania, warmly answering the hug in return and mimicking the kisses on each cheek whilst trying to keep her mind calm which was not the easiest thing to do.

A bit lost in her mind until she hears her speak, lightly shaking her head a bit to get back to reality and turning her eyes back to the display.
"In real life so no, I have seen pictures and a movie with of hmm what was his name now again?" Thinking for a bit but not finding it "That giant Fezzik in the princess bride, I also read some article about him and how extraordinary he were, was it An, An something the giant." Her hands signing along as she speaks like they always tended to do unless she willingly controlled them not to.

"It's a condition known as hypersoma or Gigantism. The result of excessive production of Growth Hormone. Think the opposite of Mr. Anatole", she says touching the glass.
She shrugs, going back to the present, "So, you want to learn medicine. That's a noble aspiration. May I Ask why?"

Nodding a bit.
"Yes I know of it, did not really know the cause though."

Looking over the display some more and speaking in a soft tone.
"I saw our friends get hurt, I saw my first love die in my arms" a tear running down her cheek "I never wanna experience that pain again, that feeling of being helpless and I wanna be of use in emergencies. I want to be able to make sure that no one I care about ever dies in front of me again, to make sure that at least one less person needs to feel that pain and ultimately so do I not wanna be reliant on tricks but to really know what I am doing." Contracts were good sure but in the end they needed fuel, having the skills would leave a chance to stabilize and aid people continuously in addition to understand what she were doing with the contract when it were used.

Leaning in close and whispering softly.
"Do you have a public name I should use?"

"There isn't a specific genetic cause, but I won't bore you with the details", she closes her eyes, in silent contemplation of the Succubus' words.
They're noble, and indeed shadow her own reasons. And for a second she goes quiet, mourning.
What the other Spring doesn't know is that death is the necessary counterpart of renewal, people will die regardless of her talents. Part of being a doctor is coping with this single fact.
No wonder that the suicide rates among doctors and healthcare workers is double the national average.

"What divides the learned from the ignorant is that the former knows exactly what he doesn't know. What separates a good surgeon from a bad one is not the education, the books he's read and the hours of practice he's had. Those are all necessary ingredients of the cocktail. But above all a good surgeon is a risk manager".
It was a bold question, one that demanded an answer, "Eleanor"

Wait weren't the details important? Then why had she chosen just this display to start with?
Starting to speak as she notices how Titania is gone in her own mind being all to familiar with that feeling herself so does she go quiet leaving Titania to take her time to sort through her thoughts in peace whilst reading the sign once more and looking over the display carefully.

"The wisest man is the one who knows that he knows nothing." Old philosophy but it did come up in her studies more than once. "That sounds logical, even if I guess that it is a whole other look at things between us and medical experts whom have access to an actual hospital and various things we who do not work at one have."

Smiling in response to the name.
"That is a lovely name."

"Thanks, may I inquire about yours?", indeed, they're not real doctors.
There are things, however, that not even the world's foremost clinic would be capable of, that may come easily to a member of the Verdant Court.
It's not a matter of skills, but rather of will.
"The first thing is to understand that not everything falls under our control"

"I do not use another, it is always the same." Whispering "I was born with another surname though." Her name being the only gift her mother had given her and something she had no desire to part with, still her name now were filled with symbolism which she did enjoy.

"No one ever have full control, still the more you know the more you can increase the chance to make sure that those around you will live to see another day. Even if the chance just increases by one percent so is it still a slightly better chance than before." And well worth the time spent to get there. "Any single thing that can shift the odds in our favor is a good thing no matter how slim the change is."
