Ram gets a telephone call from an unknown number.
Would he answer? Or would things get more interesting.
Ram didn't know the number. Probably an automated scam.
He answered but didn't say anything. Most of the robots waited for you to say something. That's how they got you.
Ram hears a confused groan on the other end before someone starts talking with an Italian accent. With a additional problem, "Ciao? Ram? Ci sei? Maledetto. Inglese. Is this the Ram man's phone? It's Circe."
"Oh, hey Circe. Yeah, this is Ram. Didn't recognize the number," finally came a reply. So not a robot. Either that or the targeting algorithms were getting WAY too advanced. "What's up?"
"Meraviglioso but wanting ta talk ta ya. Rude ta not give ya my number and just finding yers but we should meet, Summer ta Summer and all that," Circe's voice is cheerful, "Are ya familiar with Funderland? And do ya have any alcoholic or food preferences?"
Because if all else fails, the Lost are much like teenagers, easily enticed to participate by food.
"Yeah, I know Funderland," he responded. He had assumed she'd gotten his number through him working there now. If that wasn't the case, how exactly had she? "Umm, food or drink preferences? Anything really," there was a short bit of silence "I guess I normally go for stuff that fills you up?"
The Summer Queen smiles, "Excellent! Certain rides are the turf of the seasonal clubs," she wrote something down for plans, "High Striker is fer the angry Summer crowd. When can ya meet me there? Ta discuss are favored season and any other QnA ya might have? Being yer senior and all, I should be giving ya answers."
"Yeah, that all sound alright. You're the boss. How about... [date/time]?" It was close to when he got off with enough time for him to change.
If Ram had good ears he might hear a rummaging of papers, "Hmmm, yup. That'll be fine. I'll see ya there bro!"
