[Kaze]

Kaze pays attention as Campanella, the former Hierarch looks up and seems to take stock. He has no idea what Guru is talking about, something he and Skye found? And the comment about hoping Winter wasn't mistreated is...well, now that he thinks of it, he has no idea where Winter was incarcerated. It didn't look like there was room for anyone else in the Arrow wing, so maybe the Guardian wing? Tyche didn't seem like the type to mistreat someone, or Star. The most interesting thing is how Campanella looks over to Naga for the authoritative word on how the agenda should be handled.Looks like, if there was going to be any kind of structure to this thing, Campanella is looking to Naga for it.


Winter is...still Winter. Though he doesn't seem dressed for this, like he normally would. Maybe he came straight from, wherever he was.


Then Guru is shouting at Aurora. Huh.


And Abacus is here. Back? Or just showing up? What'd he say, 'waylaid'? Kaze resists the urge to ask if there were pirates involved.


Rose doesn't like the shouting. He can relate.


Aurura smiles and Kaze smiles and nods back. She doesn't miss much.


Interesting, the Thyrsus or maybe just the Consilium doesn't seem much for rules. Now. If Star were here, who knows?


Phoenyx is here! Kaze smiles over to Phoenyx. It's good she's here. He hopes the chaotic nature of the meeting doesn't throw her off too much. Maybe it will settle down now that people are all arriving.


"Hey." Kaze says smiling to Phoenyx in response to her general greeting and well wishes.


Kaze hugs Skye lightly and smiles at her question, "Nope." He says. "I feel like I'm not even going to start settling in until I have it planned out. I am being nice to animals though. Did you know the pigeons all over aren't native, they're all descended from carrier pigeons that were set loose when people weren't using them anymore? Anyway, all the laws that protect wild animals and say you can't keep them as pets don't cover them. I've been rescuing some, and getting them healthy."


He smiles as Naga breaks out the 'librarian voice' and shushes Guru. Nice.

[Campanella]

Campanella winces a little - and, yes, even jumps in the wake of Guru exuberance.

The Moros barely catches the quiet arrival of Abacus and - just - manages a nod of welcome before getting swept up in the news of the Shaman's 'nerd shit.' He senses Phoenyx taking up her usual place at the pillar and completely misses the Obrimos lack of footwear. He could only nod, vaguely, in line with Naga sentiments.

"Yes. Please. There is no need to be quite so... loud. What is this... nerd shit you are speaking of? Is it serious?"

He was really getting worried now. At Guru's reveal, the Moros made a face that could be described as Campanella swallowing a fly, or reacting to the bite of a particularly bitter lemon.

"Cursed artefact?"

A wide eyed look, trying to find Winter or even Aurora

"Anyone with a decent command of the Fate Arcanum? Surely that would be the best. Better yet..."
Anima had arrived, joining the little group around Campanella Guru.

"Magus Guru has... obtained... an artefact of some description. A potentially dangerous one!"

As he spoke, he sought out Skye with a glance. He managed to hear what she had to say above the swirl of interest and began to recover his poise.

[Guru]

He’d had one foot up on his seat and had been beginning to climb the seat when the litany of voices telling him to calm down calm in. Foot slid back to the floor but he stayed standing for now, too much energy to just sit there right now. He frowned, it stretching down dramatically in the mask of a grimace as he looked at everyone. That hand coming up to scratch at the back of his head before it turned into a small and a soft chuckle. “Sorry. I got a little carried away with my excitement.” Seeing Phoenyx walk in and having heard her request from Skye he waved her over with vigor and gusto.

He smiled as Campanella started in on what he might need and Arcanum that might be necessary. “See!” He winced again, “Sorry,” his voice dropping down to a near whisper before slowly going back to a conversational tone. His hands kept fidgeting as his feet shuffled, his body finding a different path for the energy to leave. “That’s why I thought about asking you. Never dealt with one of these before. Got like this flaw in it, super mesmerizing to look at and seems to shatter any supernal art that’s tossed at it. I tried someone simple, strong, and it still got shattered. Was weird. Seems to have transformative properties, like, uh, old Viking berserkers. You know, the ones who’d write runes into the flesh of an animal, usually a bear, and then could take their shape?

“Like that just, well, it doesn’t seem like you get to control it. That’s all I gathered from what I witnessed, like, I wanna study it but I know how dangerous it would be to do that alone.” Even though I REALLY want to, it’s just sitting there waiting for its secrets to unfold. His mind racing as he thought about the possibilities, his fidgeting turning to full blown pacing as he just had to move and couldn't contain it. Moving a step back away from the gathered people to disturb them less, especially the ones seated there.

[Abacus]

Abacus's eyebrows knit together in thought. "Surely its cursed nature would be better analyzed by someone versed in Spirit. Better to discern its nature and alignment."

A cursed artefact with shape-changing properties. Malleable, like clay. Did it impart those self-same qualities into the wielder or would it warp and twist those foolish enough to imbue it with their Will? Was it the work of some trickster, or something truly and utterly malign?

He thought on the principles of Indra's Net, the quicksilver gleam of an Arcadian web, bridging the gap between a canopy of gnarled, twisting trees. He opened his Eye to the reverberations of circumstance and the weight of choice, the mudra simple, practiced, and nondescript.

These were questions of behavior. Traits that he had yet to observe. Suppositions. But the trappings of Fate did not require acute observation. They merely gave context to the ties that bound objects, and people, and places. "Fate can offer context, though. Trace its footpaths and connect names to faces. Watershed moments. It's a different kind of sympathy. One of correlation."

Abacus had yet to lay his Sight on the object in question, but he lit himself up in the event of its reveal to him.

So.

This is happening.

Shit kept happening while she was avoiding everywhere so she wouldn't run into copy+pastelazing around. She was kind of annoyed that she'd missed out on something interesting with this, whatever it was - artefact. But she and Star (and Winter) had found that fucking painting, and then did had some Astral shenanigans (sans Winter)

So, she has had some interesting times, full of fear and blood and fucking head burster alien abyssal fuckery.

But fuck.

She draws her legs up and crosses them, tucking her head onto her hand she leans on her knee.

[Aurora]

Spotting Phoenyx enter, she’ll return the nod and offer a small smile.

Left it somewhere for safe keeping? She’d prefer the Mysterium wing, it was kinda their thing.

Listening as Guru explained what the artifact was, she frowned. Not something that should be played with, at least, not without caution.

“It sounds like something that if studied, should be in a controlled environment.” Cause she didn’t want to have to put someone down for putting it on and losing their shit. “But if it has these, transformative powers, it sounds like it could be tied to life. Did Life show anything?” she could change into animals at will. She could change people into animals, and either be nice about it, or not. So that thing having Life on it made sense to her.

Waiting the answers, she finds herself a seat, near Briar Rose and waits. Who didn’t look like she was having a good time, couldn’t blame her there. So she sticks her tongue out slightly with a smirk.

The First Talon notices Skye's nod and offers another small smile in return. She arches an eyebrow at Guru's enthusiastic waving before approaching unhurriedly, preferring to stay several paces outside the group that was huddling together.

The quiet mage, Briar Rose, draws herself in. Phoenyx finds herself almost envious. She used to be able to do that. Now she had to be councillor and herd cats. No-one else was going to do it.

"While I am sure such an artifact is fascinating," she raises her voice over the hubbub, "We must not be sidetracked so early, nor so easily." The Arrow turns that she might see and address all in the room.

"First, we should deal with official actions or urgent news for the Concillium as a whole. Dangers, attacks, Breaches. Then items of lesser import," She inclines her head towards Guru, "such as research, announcements, or non-crutial investigation. It is my understanding there is minimal fallout from your artifact's acquisition, and as such any plans to form a group or research should be here."

She pauses, wary of what she had to do next.

"Lastly, any actions of politics, Path or Order requirements, or so on. Other business. This would include the ongoing inconsistencies of Concillium order. Like how our Charter fails in numerous areas of covering a small concillium. Put last because it will certainly take the longest."

She glances around. Phoenyx didn't like standing up like this, but someone had to try and install some order in this cacophony. Eyes look over Aurora, Campenella, and finally Winter.

"The Arrows remain uninformed of any attacks on Magi within the city by organised forces, including Seers. I take this to mean there have been no encounters of this nature. If not, say now. Also in terms of official addresses, I would like to welcome Magus Winter back to the Concillium - I realise some of you have not met him as yet. He has completed his term of incarceration for violating the rules of the Duel Arcanum, and his penance is considered complete."

The Arrow stood, her gaze sweeping the room, and waited.

Someone would say something.

Someone always did.

[Winter]

He assumed - perhaps mistakenly - that whatever they had recovered from the crack house had been already studied and catalogued.
So, everyone's attention seemed to be on the new toy surfer boy had recovered.
Neither he's distracted by Phoenyx suddenly acting like a leader, how 4 months can change people, go figures.
"Guilty as charged", he exclaims, "last time the Council was almost full. Did anything happen to the other councillors?"
Phoenyx was there, so were Abacus and Aurora. Pixel was probably going to be there next. And Campanella, did he reclaim his spot?
"As for the Artifact, I might lend a hand"

[Skye]

A quick nod towards Anima as he arrives.
"I hope all is well with you Anima."

Smiles and shakes her head towards Kaze.
"No I actually did not know that, it's quite interesting though thanks for sharing that little tidbit of information and it's good to hear that you're being kind to our beloved little animals." Thinking for a bit "I could probably build you a nice bird feeder if you have room for it or want one? Anyways I am still looking forward to see the finished result once you're done settling in, rushing never gets thing done right so it is wise of you to take your time."

Rolling her eyes a bit two new people here and neither seemed very kind or friendly and where was Mobius she hadn't seen her for quite a while now.

Slowly and gently backing away a bit as Phoenyx approaches, gently nodding towards her and leaving her spot open for her to take if she so wishes she was done with this talk here either way.
Standing still and listening to her speak whilst smiling a warm encouraging smile towards her, she had nothing to say or add to it though.

Gently backing up to sit next to Naga and speaking in a mild tone as to not draw attention away from anyone else or the focus from the discussions that would most certainly soon come.
"Would you mind meeting with me in the near future? I have some matters I would like to request your help with related to the space arcana and sympathy, the details are better saved for a more private meeting though."
Hopefully she would be wrong about her suspicions but she did not know where to find Avis and it was better to be certain as soon as possible before it was potentially to late.
