    Kaze doesn't make a sound, but if someone looked, he is obviously breathing, just quietly, silently even. He is slow and smooth as he lowers himself all the way down into a kneeling position, one knee on the ground and another up. He ties his shoes, or tightens them, either way. He makes a small noise as he rises up again and slides into his seat, like a really soft grunt of effort, or maybe possibly saying 'amen'. It's not clear.

    He smiles without eye contact with Rose, a smile of contentedness not achievement or smirking as he is focused on his tea, reaching out to pour some green tea from the little kettle he brought with the other drinks. He sips it, looking like he is breathing in the steam and enjoying the feeling.

    Kaze doesn't say anything. He seems to be enjoying the moment, or the environment or the company.

    Kaze focuses on his own meal letting his peripheral vision and hearing keep track of how Briar Rose seems to be doing.

    He assiduously keeps the rice wine and beer on the table, if Rose is near the end of either at any point.

    Hanging out with Rose feels like surfing does, he reflects to himself. The waves start and stop when they do and take whatever form they will on the way, and you can only pay attention and try to be in sync with them and try not to get pounded into the sand when you misjudge. He misses surfing, he thinks.

    I am loving the scene thanks so much! I'm in no hurry to close, and enjoying the nonverbal expression! It's challenging and interesting and also really cool to mark Kaze's thirtieth birthday with the scene! We have a couple days to close out.
