“Easy, lets just focus on getting you out of here.” She says softly. “Circe has it under control.” They needed to get out. Things could be discussed later.

The Nix doesn’t waiver under supporting him. She hurts, having injuries of her own, but she just pushes those thoughts away. Focusing on Rhodes and getting him out.

“Here,” she wiggles out of her jacket, throwing it to whoever offers to help the dwarf. “Cover him with this, it should help not draw too much attention.”

Her eyes remain on Rhodes, she doesn’t look back at the bombing.

I am fine with rolling here but I am unsure what to roll to determine a derangement. NWOD Core only has rolls for resisting the effects, not determining the derangement. And I already accidentally rolled the resist, oops. So what should I roll for this?

Rhodes nods, feeling Sera's reassuring presence, quietly preserving his strength. Meg was dead. He and Sera were alive.

Everyone else was alive.

This was a win. But now they had to escape.

His heart thudded in his chest, time feeling like it was slowing as the Keeper approached and stopped. James saw where those eyes went and that smile disturbed him deeply. A chill running down his spine


Yamiyo's touch snapped James out of his reverie, he flinched and brought the knife up terror and panic in his eyes before filling with recognition. He gasped and took a step back, his heart hammering suddenly before it slowed rapidly. The whole thing was jarring for him, his eyes flitted around the room as he'd lost time.


He didn't want to ask what he missed and worry people, seeing Circe and Sonnie grab Anatole he'd sheathe his knife and help them. More hands make faster work and he imagined the squat dwarf wasn't exactly light.

Okay good there seemed to be plenty of people taking care of Anatole and helping him out she herself would most likely just get in the way there, her shirt burning away and nothing else really needed focus for the moment at least not from what she could see.

Double checking that she had all her stuff and that nothing seemed to have been left behind for any of them before rushing over to Seraphina and Rhodes helping to support him from the other side if allowed and trying to make the leave from the area as swift as possible longing to get home, shower and curl up inside the fort that she would build to calm down inside.

The battle's done, and they've mostly won.

Bobby heads off, Iron Meg's severed head in his hand. He offers Circe a bloody salute, before winding his passed the group, away from them, and the safety a Freehold could provide.

The remaining Lost take their poor wounded Wizened, and slowly, and oh so carefully carry the battered and bleeding Anatole to the car. Leaving him the backseat, there's hardly room for anyone else.

Eventually they all make their way from the ruined Motel. Leaving it, and Door 17 behind.
