She heard Sonnie, and just nodded. Content at the moment to just lay there.
Closing her eyes, she lets the exhaustion and pain take her away. Tears slip from her eyes, the feeling of failure setting in.
She fit the first thing she had on hand, grabbed her bag and hopped on the first taxi. Hoping throughout the trip that she'd make it in time.
Pointless worry, she was always on time.
By the time she has walked the full length of the alley leading to the Tavern, she has ran through several iterations of the same scene, mentally imagining Sera's wounds and visualizing the best way to treat them. Her wisps are quiet, they don't dare to interrupt her.
She has decided that the best way to treat her is resort to the Wyrd, thus she has discarded her tools.
"I'm here", she says in that unmistakable accent of hers. She's dead serious.
The call overwith, Sonnie had gone back inside the Tavern. She waited impatiently for the Bright One's arrival while she watched over the Spring Queen, doting on her with a glass of water and a damp cloth.
Both Sera and the Beast were a mess. Bloody, dirty, and weirdly smelling of gasoline. The Treasured still looked great, of course, because Fairest.
Sonnie looked up as Titania appeared, and she waved her over.
"It was the Briarwolves," was her greeting. The Bright One knew which ones she meant. "They're dead now."
Sera was by far the worst off, which numerous lacerations caused by claws. Sonnie had a minor wound on her back, but she seemed to be ignoring it for now. Her concern was for the golden-scaled Fairest. "I fed her a goblin fruit. It healed her slightly, stopped the bleeding. Stupid Hedge rules wouldn't let anyone benefit from more than one fruit at a time. It'll probably be a while longer before she can eat another."
Sera is at 6 Lethal, I believe. Sonnie has 1 Lethal.
Hearing Titania, she turns her head, “Hey Titania.” A weak smile offered. “How are you?” focusing on anything but the pain.
“Told Sonnie I just needed some sleep. And a bath, most definitely a bath.” But for now, she was content to try and rest.
She's not in good shape, but she's seen worse. Arguably when the bombs started to fall down, and the shells cut people like shears. Funny, the Luftwaffe called them butterflies, but they went under another - more sinister - name, Devil's Eggs.
She shakes the thought from her mind, she needs to focus. From the jagged saw-tooth pattern she can tell it was briarwolves. Cheers for their death, though, was it really wise to engage them?
After they have been patched up, they'll need to have a long, deep conversation about the benefits of planning and moving in unison.
She may appear scatterbrained at times, but for the most part it is an act. She's a great actress after all. Maybe those dullards are really too dull to have realized it, or her performance is truly stellar, but her advice is, most of the time, correct.
"Which one did you feed her?", she asks Sonnie before turning her attention back to Sera, "Shush, be quiet you"
For now she focuses on the Queen, she's the one with the gravest injuries. Nevertheless, she steals a glance or two, checking whether the monkey is bleeding.
Luckily for both of them, the beasts hadn't severed any artery, though, the first thing to do was to disinfect those wounds.
"I'll go and wash my hands. Grab a couple of towels and boil them in water. I'll fetch a bottle of gin from Angus' bar. We'll have to wash those wounds before I can close them"

There's going to be a little of roleplay because I'd like to claim the telluric +3 dice bonus. It would be too boring to just drop the contract and be done with it otherwise, Saber Sloth
The Beast pulled a couple of chairs over towards the sky bed. One was set at Seraphina's side, for Titania to use. Sonnie set her own chair on the opposite side of the bed, where she sat in it and watched.
"Dream-a-drupe. They're what's in season during the summer. The murmurleafs won't be ripe for another month," she answered the Telluric, citing her experiences with her goblin fruit garden.
The Monkey had been plucking at her own shirt, mainly the part where dried blood was causing it to stick to her back. She was feeling the pain of the wound now that things were calm and the adrenaline had worn off. When Titania issued orders, Sonnie surprisingly obeyed without question. She was, in fact, capable of taking things seriously.
Sometimes.
In any case, she went and fetched the towels and took them into the kitchen to boil some water.
Yay she did it!
"Towel soup will be done soon!" she called through the doorway.
The Nix opens her mouth, but then closes it.
Did Titania just shush her?! If she didn’t feel like she had just been a chew toy to Briar Wolves, she would have snapped back.
Instead, she just lays her head back down, not having the energy to argue with either of them right now.
When Sonnie mentions the Goblin fruit, Sera peers at her from under her hair, “I’m not eating another one.” She didn’t like how it made her feel.
"Quite in fact, you shouldn't", her reply to the Nix comes from behind the counter, there she's just doused her hands in gin. When she comes back, she's carrying a half bottle, "lest your brain be turned into ginger soup". Did she just crack a joke?
"So, let me explain what we're going to do once those towels are ready", she peeks at the Monkey.
"First we're going to douse the deepest wound in alcohol and press those hot towels against it. It will wilt any residual thorn", she brushes a lock of hair away from Sera's forehead, "It will hurt. A lot. But don't panic, Sonnie will be here to bind you, should you try to move. Then, I can summon the Wyrd".
When everything is said and done, she presses her soft lips against the Nix's forehead, a motherly kiss. "Don't worry, dear. Everything should be over soon"

In her element Titania orders Sonnie about, with the name of the Goblin Fruit the Claviger she knows that Dream-a-Dupe is a healing fruit, growing in the Summer, it's standards of healing are like those of the other Seasonal Healing Fruits. Unlike the others, the purple nectarine like Dream-a-Dupe is slightly intoxicating.
Normally not enough to cause drunkenness to those who consume them, but with Sera's sobriety and with how much blood she's lost it appears to be have a greater effect upon the Spring Queen.
And yes you'll be able to use that snazzy Telluric bonus!
