The Tool for the Job

[Phoenyx]

The scent of incense filled the Arrow's room.

Slowly, Phoenyx plucked the lit stick and waved the smoke underneath her knife, letting the curls of smoke rise and be displaced by the flat of the blade.

She returned the incense stick to the holder and the knoife to the sheet of silk she had laid out in a space on the floor. Around it stood five candles arranged in a Pentagram, the knife in the center.

One by one, she lit the candles, each with an individual match.

Finally, the Arrow sat behind the cloth, a candle near each knee, and folded her legs into a lotus position.

Slowly, she began to breath.

It took a little over an hour, and there ere some moments she wasn;t sure it would work, but eventually, her knife was attuned. She took it, and it's matching pair, and placed them in their sheaths.

It was something she had been meaning to do for some time.
