Dirt Nap listens intently, fascinated as Alice Hart uses the word, 'miracle' to describe kindred who put anything ahead of their own selves, possibly putting herself in that category, or else hinting that she has some personal stake in the Domain that makes putting it first a way of putting herself first. Dirt Nap guesses the key to figuring out what she means is whether she believes, really believes in miracles or not. Or it depends on whether she knows that he does.
"Thank you, Ma'am, Seneschal, Hart." Dirt Nap says slowly. He doesn't nod and looks perhaps a little troubled, awkward, as if he wants to say something, but doesn't want to offend.
"Um." Dirt Nap murmurs softly. "As to letting people know...I will trust you know what's best. I have been in a uncomfortable spot before, when I got offered a position, and had to figure out if it was offensive to say, 'no'. I want to be a help, and would like to do it by coming when people in a position call, instead of having one myself." He explains. "I hope that doesn't sound ungrateful. I understand that's not what you are talking about anyway, right now; I just like to know my limitations, and head off any problems when I can; I believe I have my hands full trying to control and being responsible for my own self, much less anyone else."
