Eyes watch as he worked his magic, revealing the dreamer. The forest was an interesting touch, but wasn’t the important thing to focus on. Smiling to him, “Perfect.” And she follows him, focused on the dreamer.

But what she saw appeared worse to her. The black ick still clinging to, and causing distress to the dreamer.

Pausing, she looks around, really looks around. Searching for any hint, sign or taint from Them. Sapphires were intense, her mouth set in a firm line, hands balled into fists, body tense.

"Of course!" he bats back, smiling. He was taking things seriously, but that didn't mean they couldn't make it a bit more relaxed.

As the water subsides but the darkness remains, the Dread Lord's expression sours. "That's disconcerting." He is also looking around, watching for the taint of poison.

[Saber Sloth]

The Oneiropomps see it before they know it. Feel it before they think to look. The slime has the cloying rot of Dream Poisson, more a by product then the source. Puss and blood leaving a wound, staining the area around it, but not the wound itself.

[Seraphina]

She nods, but it was a slow, numb motion, “It is.” Her voice soft.

A small step was taken, bringing her a little bit closer to the struggling dreamer. Her Mantle rises up around her, her long hair dancing around her as her eyes close. The pink blossoms reach out and envelope the sleeper as the Oneirophysic tries to purge the poison from the sleeper’s body.

According to the Wiki, there simply needs to be the expenditure of Willpower from Sera. So we're going to give that a go

[Rhodes]

Rhodes stays alongside the Nyx as she moves. "Careful, darling," he offers, watching her attempt to move the poison.

Keeping an eye on the darkness, the Dread Lord watches, in case they need to move on to another dream.... or defend themselves from the malicious poison.

[Saber Sloth]

The Oneirophysic forces her will outward, an attempt at Dream Triage, but the Fairest is only an Intern. In her Desire to aid those bound in nightmares, she had taken the Plunge to enter the Dreaming. To expedite her entry, she has excluded her one skill to heal physical wounds, but this....surveying the still struggling dreamer, clawing and crying soundlessly, there was nothing physical about this.

They would need to try something else.

pg 157-158 of Lords of Summer, it says that to use the Privileges gained by Sera's Entitlement you needed to enter the Dream through meditation rather then taking the Plunge, and even if Sera had meditated Dream Triage is used to Heal physical damage, 'generally reduce the impact of life-threatening injuries, illnesses or toxins' Meaning that if used it would clear the damage from the target's right most health box, stabilizing them. What's effecting these Dreamers, is something Other.

It always took something out her when she attempted to heal in a Dream. And this time was no different, except for the fact that she failed. Her skills weren’t enough, and that stung.

Her Mantle settles around her, the breeze dying down, a frown on her face, her shoulders slumped.
But, she had to focus, not dwell.

Eyes still on the Dreamer, “It’s out of my abilities to help at this point.” Disappoint in her voice. “So I think we either try scouring the Dream, or see if there is another door, follow the poison.” She looks around once again, “Unless I’ve missed something.”

Sooo...I rolled the wrong dice pool at first, adding in Wyrd. Realized it and rolled the correct dice pool, if this cancels out the reroll, totally cool. But wanted to explain...lol!

[Rhodes]

The Dread Lord watches. "Not sure what you're trying to do there, darling, but I'm sure the latter two are well within your abilities."

Rhodes shakes his head. "Scouring the dream will only change the environment for this person. Dealing with the symptom, but not the cause." He frowns. "We have to look into the next dream that infected this one."

Moving towards the dreamer, still writhing in their black tendrils, the Flowering grimaces. "Perhaps we can follow it's trail. Back to the Source of the poison." He offers Sera a hand. "Ready?"

[Saber Sloth]

Desperate and wishing to help, the Oneirophysic tests the dreamscape around her, and knows that this poor dreamer has been stuck in a reoccurring nightmare, a reprieve from the unforgiving, merciless waves granted by the Dread King's, singular mercy.

The dreamer, still screams a soundless noise, still clawing against the parched and cracked ground them, while the Dream Poison cast off, raps around and chains the Dreamer to the bottom of what had been the ocean.

The Dread Lord is right, in that to find the source of the Poison they will need to travel further into the Dreaming realm, travelling the skein. They must shape a gate, leading them to the nearest dream tainted by the Poison, or they might call for a guide, for some unknown price.

Remember Dream Intensity! This dream has an Intensity of 2!
I've subtracted the 2 from the right from the roll, which still leaves a success.Derp Derp, I need more coffee apparently! The proper negative modifiers had been added!

Deep, troubled blue eyes look to the Dread Lord, “I was trying to remove the poison. But it’s not something I can do yet.” Or so it seemed to her, because it was still there. “Maybe with more practice and study.” What good was her ability if she could help someone?

The Treasured knew he was right. But it still didn’t make it easier on her. And her desire to help and bring this person some relief. She knew reoccurring nightmares all, her own haunted her night after night.

A nod as she accepts his hand. Finding some inner peace knowing that finding the source might help this dreamer.
