Circe has to jink, moving her left shoulder back as she steps to the right, since Huff got some serious air with that spit take. She looks to the others and sees that Rhodes seems ready to leave. Best to do it on a good note.

Circe looks down at the spittle then back up to Huff, "Yer puff gets distance. Sure I can give ya my work numba," Circe offers her own hand with a business card in the palm, "My business provides small arms, long arms, mundane swords, accessories, I'm flexible like that."

"Though if yer lookin' ta go full Rambo, that'll require mundy riches due to sheer cost of product. Just sayin," she looks to Bricks, "Any clue what security they might have? I doubt they'll be as pleasant ta ear or eye as you folks are," wink, "but while I'm prepared fer trouble, I'd love ta make preparations double." Black and red eyes widen as her mouth goes slack. She blinks. "Fanculo did I just quote Pokemon?"

With Rhodes moving, her instinct is to follow. But she pays attention to the flow of conversation, maybe the Hog will have some valuable information about the area. Though she does look to Rhodes, a silent way of letting him know she see’s he’s ready to move on.

Then Circe talks about guns. Not a topic the Nix had any knowledge on. Except that guns shot bullets and could kill people and things.

Her stomach flops at the sight of the female eating the meat. Clearly not civilized. But, being in the Hedge, maybe you had to disregard manners?

When Bricks talks, she pays attention, nodding, “Thank you for the heads up about that. And letting us know the general direction.” her thanks were genuine, as was her smile. They were going to have be careful.

Her body then shifts towards the Dread Lord, ready to follow him.

Rhodes waits for the others.

It seemed to him they were done here. All that mattered was moving on.

Both Bricks and Huff give full body flinches as Circe speaks. Edging closer together, as they fail to look unaffected by the word. "We don't know." Bricks says, food still on the plate, and not passing his bloody, torn lips. "Be on your way now." Putting the food down and moving to pack up what had been taken out so they could rest.

"Yeah, I'll-ah-call. If-when I need some fire power!" Huff says, forcing a smile, which slides off her muzzle quickly. As she too starts aiding her motley mate in cleaning up.

Okay wait a minute. Did those two get freaked out by her saying Pokemon, cursing in Italian, or asking about security? Did a Pokemon kill their parents? That was just weird. Being scared of something as cute as a Pokemon. "Ooookay then. Well hope ta do, uh, business with ya in the future," she backs away, "Really hope ya didn't get spooked by the p-word." Circe backs off to join Rhodes. "And remember, I've no problem with bribes."


"Please tell me it wasn't Pokemon that spooked them." she can't help but ask in a hushed whisper to the Autumn King. He knew fear and all that. And it was better then being blatantly suspicious in front of them.

Weird. All that work to cook the meal, and they’re eager to pack it up? But she doesn’t want to say anything, not yet.

“Best of luck.” Says the Nix, now standing beside Rhodes, sapphires still on the pair.

As Circe joined them, she shrugs. And while the question wasn’t directed at her, “I don’t know, but I think we should just move on, but keep our eyes and ears open.” Her own angelic voice a whisper. In case. It was the Hedge after all, and f they were looking for the Flesh Market, no telling what they’d be willing to bring there.

Circe can tell, it wasn't her Pokemon mention that had the pair packing fast, their words, choked off, while their eyes fly around the small clearing. No, Circe can tell that as soon as 'Puff' left her lips, the pair were up and determined to be off.

If they are not stopped, they'll continue as they were and make their way, away. Far, far away.

If they leave, all that's left is to head westward, towards what Bricks called an orchard and a large bottlery.

The Summer nods in agreement, "Right right, not our problem. We got stuff ta blow up."


Circe has no problem with heading out and will take the lead, rifle raised ahead, if not stopped.

That made, some, sense. So she only shrugs. “Maybe a sore subject?” maybe another Motley member? She knew the pain of losing those. The final blow stuck when Ingrid left.

Nodding, “Agreed.” They came in here for one thing, and this wasn’t it. But, at least it gave them a lead. Of sorts.

If Circe was going to blow things up, hopefully they could get any info they needed first. But there would be no resistance from the Treasured as Circe led the way.
