Crescents Catching Up

Luna Above did she have to be so... Vulgar!? "Th-hat's different! It's fur, you're an animal then- or, basically one... It's definitely not the same." Wolves didn't have hundreds of years of developed customs regarding exposure drilled into their head at a young age. It was a weak counterpoint, but there was a bit of backbone growing... Though, it steadily sunk back as she started laughing, any spark of anger quickly giving way to embarrassment.

Once she'd calmed down... She thought he'd meant fighting, naturally, and Nathaniel was about to try his hand once more at bluntness before she finally caught on. "Ok... Uh, thanks." A rather audible sigh of relief, at learning it wasn't a requirement.

Then she mentioned his... Ah... Virginity.... "That's not technically! Um, I suppose it depends on how you look at it... I don't think I have that anymore?..." There was no easy way to explain that. "B-ut it's not just about sex it's being exposed like that... I still have those kind of urges? But it's- er- embarassing? No that's not the right word. I don't know?" He felt attractions to others- wasn't blind to that. Mary from the occult club was the first example that came to mind- though that was made more awkward by the fact that she and sis... Got along.. Whatever the case, he never saw fit to pursue anything of the sort.

Still- Emily was trying to be comforting. In hindsight Nathaniel saw how embarrassing this looked. How on-the-spot he'd put her, how uncomfortable this likely was. At hearing her own story, Nathaniel took a deep breath. In for a penny... "Thank you, for um... Sharing. And I'm not sure if I want to... Argh. Ok, Look. Just- Promise to keep an open mind?..." His tone were pleading.

First time telling this story to a packmate... Nathaniel began. "So, when I was still Nuzusul an older friend dragged me along to a Special Club..." Hint-Hint. "But apparently Fate decided that was somehow proof I had matured enough for my First Change. So much for that plan, right?" A nervous laugh there. "Didn't really try anything for a while after that. But When the 'Feelings' returned-" Luna Above, he felt so childish talking about it like that. "-I talked to my teacher, and he wasn't very open about physical stuff- or, didn't have time for it? Anyways I guess my constant prodding must have annoyed him, because he ah... He snapped at me and told me to stop wasting his time, and to find and ask a spirit if I was so eager?" It was likely said in jest or exasperation. Asshole. But at the moment, for the young crescent? Well, he'd gotten this far. In for a penny...

"So... I did?...." In for a pound. And only A few seconds after the admission, his face went pale at the realization. He'd just... Said that.

FUCK! Fuckfuckfuck why had he just admitted that?! What the fuck?! "Ah-I mean... It didn't go very far. It wasn't anythingsuperserious! Promise!" No, not at all. "I took precautions and I knewhatwasinvolved!" Because Nathaniel was just a Paragon of caution. "I just- Um... oh fuck WhyyyYYyy.." Hands covering his face now, a mixture of embarrassment and not wanting to see Emily's reaction.

"Dick's a dick's a dick, man. You're the one splitting hairs," Emily shrugs and licks the edge of the paper to seal her cigarette.

"Well, that's cryptic. Either you have or you haven't, Nate. Whatever, it's not actually important, log as you're happy." Emily can't help it; she smirks. "Sorry, it's not about what?" she asks, cupping a hand to her ear. "I don't think I heard you." Embarassing? Aw, man. It was hard to keep teasing. It was like kicking a puppy. "Look, Nate... it basically sounds like you're horny and frustrated. But no-one's ever told you that's what you are and you've somehow never learned. You ever watch Sex Education? It's a show on Netflix. I think it might help a bit."

The Ithaeur smiles. "Shocker, I'm bisexual. It wasn't much of a share. I'm just trying to show I know about weird stuff, okay?"

Open mind? Emily, for once, stays quiet, letting Nathaniel spin his story. The club gets a small smirk, but she stays quiet. "Find a spirit? Jeez. What a dick," she chimes in, lighting her cigarette and breathing.

And then she chokes. Hard.

Spluttering and wheezing, Emily tried desperately to regain her composure, equal parts horror, laughter and shock. "What.... *coughcough* HOW... *splutter*...." she drops her cigarette in the ashtray and sits up, coughing smoke. "Fuck. I mean.... is that even a thing?" she cocks her head, eyes red from strain. "Wow. And I thought I was into some kinky shit."

Her digs and teasing just piled onto it all. He felt a bit happier at someone else agreeing that his Mentor was a bit of a prick. But her reaction to the news was- well, he had expected the horrified expression. Yet she didn't seem angry? Actually, she was-

"H..Hey! Don't laugh!" And he's back to blushing again. "It wasn't ki-kinky it was just... Stuff!" Not that he had any other experience to really compare it to. On the bright side, he didn't seem that afraid to talk about it now- after catching Emily in a coughing fit.

"L-look. I found a seedy place, and searched around. Found an... Appropriate spirit" A specific iteration of lust spirit; one that had enough experience and understanding of drives and urges and more 'colorful' things. "We talked for a bit. I offered some chiminage-" Ginseng tea leaves mixed with rose petals "- and asked them to teach me! And part of their method was very uh.. hands-on." The pup folded his arms as if in defiance, but couldn't help giving a goofy smile.

He was dead serious. This actually happened. "So yeah. We... Did some stuff. Sometimes it was hollow- they weren't that personal, and weren't that- er.. powerful?" He instantly regretted using that word to describe the spirit's influence. "Sometimes they tried to convince me to do other things, outside of our uh.. Meetings. But I was careful- I wasn't...Tempted. And it wasn't bad- In the end they kept their promise. We both got something out of it." And that was the abridged tale of how Nathaniel Dormur lost his Virginity to a spirit.

"Ah... And that's it." Well, also the fact that Nathaniel didn't seem to have disliked the experience, which might have raised a few questions. "I just found it easier? It didn't make me as nervous, getting 'physical' with them." Maybe it's because he found spirits easier to deal with than humans. Maybe it was influenced by his nature as a Crescent? Nathaniel certainly didn't quite understand why either. "So... Is that ok? I couldn't find many um... Records on this stuff." Not that he thought most Uratha would actually relay such an experience.

"It was a fucking spirit, Nate. That's kinky as fuck," Emily says, trying to chuckle but coughing again.

"Appropriate Spirit, huh? Is that what you kids are calling it nowadays?" She's still grinning like a loon. The Crescent takes a drag on her cigarette, and, to her credit, tries really hard to straighten her face. "You.... got sex ed.... from a spirit of porn." She makes a face, desperately trying not to laugh. "Well... um... hands on sounds.... good?" She snorts, still trying not to laugh.

Emily nods, stiffly. "Both got something out of it. Yep. Sure. I'll bet you did." She bursts out laughing again. "I'm sorry, Nate, really. But that's just fucking funny." She wipes a tear from her eye and tries to shop shaking with silent giggles. "Is it... okay? How the fuck should I know? All I know is if two Uratha bone down they make a hideous spirit demon. Worst comes to worst you'll get that, I guess, and it hunts you until one of you kills the other. Sounds like a Catholic morality tale."

While he was glad to have to face her comedic jabs rather than her... jabs... Nathaniel still didn't take kindly to them.

Maeljin's Maliciousness, did she have to twist EVERYTHING?? "Well I couldn't ask just any old spirit! What else was I supposed to turn to?? It's not like "sex ed" spirits exist!" Or did they? Even if they had, at the time Nathaniel couldn't just send out a call. He searched the old fashioned way. " I worked with what I had." he held up a finger then, as if to try and prevent her from twisting that somewhere dirty.

"What's... Um.. What's funny about it? Werewolves trade with spirits for knowledge all the time. I just figured it was that equivalent....." If he bit his lip any harder, he'd start to draw blood. Then on that cautionary tale. "I-I took precautions. And I didn't do anything that might- Can spirits even have children?" Was that even a possibility?? It was all a big unknown- he supposed it was too much to hope his sister might know more. "Um... Any tips then? Going forward in... Everything?"

There's more sniggering. A sex ed Spirit? Probably not. And as Nathaniel accurately predicted, Emily's mouth is already open to make another smart-assed comment when the finger is raised. To her credit, she does shut up and smiles affectionately.

"I'm.... sorry. It just sounds so strange, because nearly everyone I know learned from actual sex ed, or siblings, or practice. Last one's my favourite." The Crescent shrugs. Have kids? This is all kinda outside of her knowledge. "Can.... spirits get pregnant? How the fuck should I know? That's really, really outside of anything I learned, man. I mean... does a condom work on an etheric being? They're beings of emotion and feeling... could you impregnate it with your feelings of cumming?" The questions don't sound accusatory, more musing, as if lost in her own thought process.

"Mm? What?" Nate's question drags her mentally back into the room. "What, like, tips tips? Well.... are we talking guys, girls or spirits? Because lemme tell ya I don't really know about turning the last ones on."

Nathaniel had finally gained a modicum of tolerance for her jokes, and settled for rolling his eyes this time around as she begins to discuss the means by which a spirit can... Well, yeah. But not one to let a good opportunity for weird spirit talk go to waste, the Bone Shadow put forth his own musings.

If nothing else, it was a good distraction "It's not just that I think- first off, I'm not sure anything could happen on the physical end. Difference in ah... Biology? But even then, if some strong feelings or emotions or such can generate some kind of conditions- well, could the spirit I was with even have a child? Could any spirit have a child, or would they have to be a specific kind in this case?... Ugh why did this have to get so confusing." He scratched his head, his interests suddenly looking far more dangerous than they were not but a few moments ago.

Was... Was she using tips as an innuendo? Whatever the case, he saw an opportunity for a retort. And after several back-and-forths as a nervous wreck Nathaniel was eager to change the tone. "Ha. Well if you've got tips for non-spirit bits, I can give you plenty for the latter." A fold of his arms, a crossing of his legs that showed an attempt to look cool and confident. "I mean- if you think you're kinky enough." A few seconds of seriousness, before the facade utterly cracked, the crescent laughing. At least he seemed to be in happier spirits.

Emily shrugs. "I have no fucking clue, dude. I'm just amazed it's even a thing." She pulls on her cigarette and blows a plume into the air.

"Kinky enough." Emily dead-eyes the younger wolf. "You really wanna play that game...?" And then he bursts out laughing, and she shakes her head, smiling. "Uh-huh. Careful, Nate. You wouldn't be the first guy I've thrown a vibrator at." The Crescent slouches back down and rolls her head towards him. "Seriously. You don't seem like the party-hard sleep-around Cassanova type. Be straight with me. What do you wanna know?"

Nathaniel just gave a shrug- he'd have to do research into this. The paper kind, this time.

She took his little jest well, which raised Nathaniel's spirits even more- a laugh tinted with a hint of nervousness at the idea of being thrown a... Toy. "Eheh... I'm sure I wouldn't be." Fortunately in his unending crusade to keep her home slightly cleaner he had yet to encounter any. As per the question of romance. "Ah- start with the basics I guess? I'm pretty sure I can't burn chiminage to ask for a date. And is it any more difficult to be with someone in the herd like that?" He knew from basic teachings that wolfbloods made better companions, but Nathaniel was still readily capable of interacting with the herd without much difficulty.

Burn chiminage for a date? Sure it was a joke, but even the idea worried Emily a little. How maladjusted was the poor kid?

"Nope. Well, like I say, never fucked a spirit, so I can't tell you that any more than i can tell you exactly what it's like for you sticking your dick in something." She shrugs. "See, i think that's part of your problem. This isn't a mystery to be solved. Asking a.... giiiirrrrrl?" She checks very tentatively, "out? is just like talking to a person the rest of the time." Emily twists and leans on her arm. "Lemme check.... Is this like a sexy question or a generic 'dating pointers 101' thing?" Poor kid. At least her pack had guided her through it. Even Dad had been there, and kept watching over her.
