The Talon grins at Emily's inability to openly laugh or throw a punch at his arm this time around. Probably going to pay for it sometime though. As the Crescent moves forward Chris adjusts to be near Hector and to keep an eye on way back up and out.

Matt takes the Alpha's unspoken invitation to move up and past him, but doesn't join the scouts. Instead Matt takes position ready to rush forward if the scouts need help, or to stand in the path of anything that might threaten the Alpha, or be chasing after the scouts if they need to make a hasty retreat!
Matt doesn't notice anything supernaturally notable.

<<Spirits here>> Emily sniffs. <<Deathly, sick spirits.>>
She watches them until the gift fades, wondering idly if there is a safe place to cross.
<<If we find locus, talk, perhaps,>> She offers
I land on my feet, head snapping around looking for something to bite. Frustration gives way to anger that I have to quickly clamp down, I look to sister Brigit in the tunnel, she gets it.
With a nod of my head I motion towards the sounds coming from deeper in and wait for Alpha.
Brigit moves to meet with Bleeds Well, the hulking Pale Wolf standing shoulder to shoulder with her tribemate.
However, at the sound of faint voices beyond, the Urshul-That-Is-Brigit freezes, head and ears locking in their direction as she listens intently in an attempt to make out their words.

Hector holds his position: watching, listening, waiting.
He has sent elements of the pack ahead to scout. He trusts their judgement.
If they find anything - they'll report back.
And if they find anything... The sounds of combat should alert him, too.
Within the confinement of the tunnel there are only Wolves. On this side of the Hisil at least. Anyone who has sensed the verge can tell that all they would have to do is will it and they'd step across. Though Emily has seen and shared whats on the other side.
As Bleeds Well and Brigit take a moment they both can hear the faint voices. Brigit can tell that there are two of them and one of them keeps saying something about a smell. O and the voices are getting closer.
<<Gauntlet is thin. Going across to watch spirits. You come?>> She turns and looks at Chris and Hector.
My ears twitch, I nod my head towards the voices. No sound is needed, an ambush is the obvious tactic, I quietly move into position and wait, trusting Brigit to do the same. I do give Nathaniel a nudge on my way to join me. I'm not sure just how much this one understands. I'll be taking him hunting after this for sure. For now I wait for the prey I was expecting to rend with teeth and claw just moments ago.
This was a bad idea this wasn't good this wouldn't lead anywhere good.
A verge. Sickly spirits. They needed more intel, they needed to learn bans and prepare bindings and...
A deep breath- he needed to stay calm. Emily was going on the other side, and Nathaniel should follow suit.
<<I follow you>> a simple nod there.
