Emily follows up with the Alpha, listening closely. She slips back into her Hishu form and pulls on her jacket.

"You're call, boss. But if this guy already has a day's start, we should stay focused." Harsh, but true, in the Ithaeur's opinion. They had duties to uphold.

[Bleeds Well]

An intersection between the trail and the sounds of the herd seems imminent to Hector. He tries to catch the scent of the rapidly approaching humans, but the wind is not agreeing with him, carrying scent away and masking sound at times with the movement of the leaves. The rustling is coming closer and closer leaving not much time to decide what course of action to take.

I hesitate, eyes moving from the Alpha to Emily and back.

[Hector]

Hector moves.

He motions for the pack to hide...

To lie in wait...

He himself finds thick underbrush and woody thickets to hide his brawny frame.

Everyone around me rushes to find a hiding spot or activate gifts. I take a few calm steps and fade into the shadows.

As the last member of the Call disappears into hiding, a bush just ahead of them rustles violently and figures push through. One boy, very young, maybe 6 or 7, is trailing behind a much older young man with a backpack slung over one shoulder. The little boy stops again to protest.

"Tommy! No!" a small foot is stomped on the ground, "I don't care about some fort in the woods, I want my wifi! Sponge Bob is on!"

Tommy stops and turns back towards the child, anger flashes on his face. He stomps back towards the small boy, each step causing a slight limp to exaggerate more. "Well, you don't have a choice, your mom has me watching you, and this is where I'm going." He hikes up a small backpack onto both shoulders before picking up the now wailing child. As he turns and continues to walk deeper into the woods his limp gradually fades.

[Hector]

Hector has his suspicions.

So he decides they'll follow the pair for a little while. They can always come back to the creek later and pick up the trail again.

@Mark do you need another stealth roll or is the previous set sufficient?
