[Hector]

Hector moves to say something, then stops as the realisation hits...

He is a stinky, rancid, begger - his appearance is more likely to terrify the child.

After a pause to says to Bleeds Well:

"Take the kid to edge of the woods. If you can, get him to lead you... home... And remember, you were out in the woods and find this child wandering alone and scared. You've tried to get them home or something like that - if anyone asks.

"And be careful. The herd has authorities of their own and they will get involved. Be careful of the trail you lead."

[Brigit]

Looking upon the corpse, Brigit remembered an old hunger.

She heard Emily's words, but remained in her place. Once her sister had finished, Brigit granted a nod.

"We have more than the spirit to worry about," she says, reminded her sister of the dead body before them, "We will destroy it soon enough, but for now we must end the threat the Herd might pose by interfering."

A long pause hangs in the air before Brigit rolls her shoulders and sighs, looking to the sky.

"I know what I must do, but you should go," she says, "You will not like what you see."
