[Kaze]

Kaze listens to everyone discussing the gathering and what it’s for and what it’s not for. He looks thoughtful or maybe wistful at Phoenyx’s offering, and then nods in acknowledgment of the Heirarch’s announcement that everyone is recognized. He smiles at Morgan’s easy banter and then nods again at Shodan promoting a serious study group.

”I’ll come.” Kaze says to Phoenyx.

”And if you really start a study group, I’d like to come to that too.” He says earnestly to Morgan and Shodan.

He isn't even subtle about the eye rolling.

"Yeah, lucky you." God that was terrible. Like someone trying Pig Latin for the first time. He's half surprised none of the Mystagogues chimed in with a correction. "It's 'LeviOsa, not LeviosA."

An Atlantean study group sounds as exciting as the Mysterium's cleaning and filing party. He can't help but glance over at Winter and thank his stars that if that guy suggests getting together, it'll probably be at the shooting range.

"Speaking of, like, cabals? I've got a big place that could use roommates."

The words aren't directed at anyone in particular; quick and quiet, like ripping a Band-Aid off or pulling a tooth.

[Aurora]

Oh, she was really going to recite it backwards?! She had to admit, she was curious.

But then nothing. Which sucked. Though an Atlantean study group? Was that a thing? The Shaman really did know.

“Not sure those study groups are really a thing or not, but sounds like a good way to get to know people. So I'd be down.” New faces meant getting to know new people.

Then Star and the Cabal thing. Was he looking to rebuild his old Cabal? Or start fresh? She liked Star, he knew his shit and got shit done. But they’d never been close.

Blue eyes look to Campy, there was a lot to talk about. Would they reform their Cabal? Or had that ship been sailed and was done? Many unanswered questions and an uncertain future.

[Campanella]

"There. Now that sounds a worthwhile endeavour."

Campanella speaks quietly, more to himself than anyone else, as the talk focusses on building a shared group. Even if such a thing did not provide the foundation of a Cabal, the fact that a diverse group of mages would be working together, was music to the Hierarch's ears after the tumult of the past year or so.

Star was speaking.

"You seek to rebuild the Veiled Threats? For a time I worked with Aurora and Tuesday - she created a successor group called Nidhogg's Bane and at one point were were the only Pentacle in the city. I would like to see that Cabal... that lineage... continue in some form. And I may have left some things in my old chambers at the Theatre."

The Hierarch's mouth quirked.

Was he interested? Yes?

Would the Guardian wish to work with the Mystogogue? That was the question.

Pixel smirks at Morgans fail. The fact that she felt confident enough to try that put her ahead of the Free Councilor though, so gold star. As her comment about a study group drew half the Concilium's attention, he couldn't help but lose interest though. He'd have plenty of time for studying once the semester started and the idea of extending it into his free time sounded pretty distinctly not for him.

"Do you have your own bathrooms?"

The question was clearly whispered at Star. File under college student problems.

Camanella's explanation is registered but not commented on. The Warlock's eyes simply shift innocently between him and Star, anxiously awaiting whatever came next. They then returned to Briar Rose to see what her reaction was.

Briar Rose flashes the Hierarch a double thumbs up. Tension in her shoulders loosening with the A-okay from the Head Honcho. It would be a pain to live and work and create in Sacramento if she was on the lamb.

Amusement sparks, "Next time Feathers." Though she's unsure if Arnie heard her over the din of All the People wanting to form a Study Group. Even though Briar Rose was sure the suggestion was added for a laugh.

But if it's get the curious mages out of their houses then Briar Rose was for it, sort of. You'd know exactly where those in the group were when there was a meeting.

Leaning back, looking at the bean and the mop head, brows climbing. She nods, considering, 'big place' how big a place? Leaning in, "Got room for two more?" because after so long without sharing a roof, Briar Rose wanted to rectify that.

How to bury a dead language twice.
He winces. Was their interest genuine, or they were just faking enthusiasm in order to mock the Tradition? Call it prejudice, but of the Libertines he had met, most were dismissive of the Dream. And alikes bundle together, all cut of the same cloth.
As for the Apostates (?), now those were the people who either lacked schooling or had left their respective Orders for one reason or another.
He looks at the Mystagogues present, curious of their reaction. Tentatively amused by the prospect.

"Alright", he says, reaching for another cancer rod.
At the next caucus, hopefully, they'd have something else to discuss other than trivia.

Oh dip, there was that nickname again! Satan wept!

And now everyone was serious about a damn study group. And making Harry Potter references.

This was, by far, the nerdiest consilium she'd ever been a part of. She just couldn't tell yet if that would be a good thing.

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx watches as her offer goes largely unnoticed - people seemed more keen in study groups and playing with High Speech. Sure, these things were important too, but it was hard to see who was serious. Well. She would run regardless and see who turned up.

And there were cabals of course. People poking places to stay. There may well be groups forming already. The Arrow sighed. She needed to connect with people before trusting them to be a Cabal. The Aegis had been all Arrows - that was easy. This needed time.

"If people need places to stay, there are also spaces in the Circle itself for every Order," she adds. The fact that she could keep an eye on anyone who did was an added bonus.

A cough escapes the Warlock, breaking the silence that had befallen the Concilium.
