Spring Coming Together

She had reached out to her fellow Springs. It was time to tell them about the letter she’d received and see how they were going to move forward. With Ingrid gone, they were going to need to pull together and work on the Tavern, to keep it up and grow.

So she brought in some Spring themed cookies from her shop, sandwiches and made some tea. Though the rest of the Tavern was still stocked. She just felt like tea. Her setup wasn’t as in depth as Abraham's, but it didn’t need to be. Sometimes simple was the best way to go.

The Nix was dressed more casual in a flowing summer dress, her long hair down and dancing in the warm breeze that surrounded her. The flowers grew around her as she moved around the Tavern, setting different things on the table. Her necklace was shimmering with various colors around her neck, her jacket was hung off the back of a chair, the spider silk and dew catching the light. An envelope poking out of the pocket.

Sonnie arrived, apparently having just come from the gym or something. She was sweaty and dressed in running shorts and a tank top. At the moment, she was barefoot. That she probably smelled a bit probably didn't matter to the Beast. She smiled and waved as she entered the Emerald Court's Hollow, slinging her messenger bag and quarterstaff aside and placing them out of the way.

"Howdy doo, everyone! Sorry, I lost track of time at my parkour club. I was almost late!" No time for a shower, apparently. "Oh, cookies!"

The Steepscrambler bounced over to the table and grabbed a treat with her tail, while curtsying to Seraphina, "Your Royal Awesomeness," she winked.

"Lancelot," she nodded to Abe, all well.

She took a bite of the cookie, which happened to show off the fact that the monkey girl now had fangs. Her canine teeth were longer and sharper than they ever had been before. They were actually kind of cute on her.

As Abraham walked in, she had to wonder if he owned any other clothes. Or maybe just a whole lot of the same thing? Though she guessed not everyone cared about fashion the way others do. But, it seemed to make him happy, so who was she to judge.

Smiling, “Hi Abraham! Want some tea?” she gestures to the tea pot on the table. “Of course the Tavern is stocked with anything else.” Some didn’t like tea. “How’ve you been? Please, sit if you want. I’m just getting last minute things done.” Sugar and milk were placed on the table, also in containers that matched the tea set.

If Sonnie did indeed smell, Sera didn’t let on. That was rude.

Waving, “Hey Sonnie!” she greeted the Beast. “You’re fine.” Replies the Treasured with a wave of her hand. "How are you?"

Wait, when did Sonnie get teeth? “Those are new.” She says with a grin, “But they look good on you!” compliments the Nix, still moving around. Flowers seeming to grow from the floor wherever she walked.

Sonnie flopped into a chair, munching on her cookie while she undid her ponytail, letting her sweaty hair loose. "I'm good!"

She blinked at Abraham. Lancelot was the extent of her knowledge on knights and such, so the name Dagonet meant nothing to her. She shrugged, and looked back to Sera when the interim Queen asked her a question.

"Hm? Oh, these?" Her tongue ran over the extended teeth, "Yeah, they just sort of popped in the other night. Oh, thanks!" The Beast was still a little uncertain about the new teeth, but the Nix's approval helped.

Sonnie looked at both Fairest and sighed, "I checked out that club. It's been months since Ingrid's been there, far as I can tell. The staff and regulars either didn't remember her or hadn't seen her in a long time."

She looked towards the door, "Is Starlight coming?"

[Titania]

Speak of the devil. And there she is, the Light-bringer herself in flesh and uhm, wisps... yes. The occasion was informal enough to warrant a casual attire - a pink sweater dress down to her knees - but not informal enough to be like THAT. The grimace on her face at the sight of Sonnie is soon replaced with a more diplomatic scowl.
The fairest looks like somebody who's just returned from an extended trip to a Spa or a beautician, maybe both. She's rocking a healthy tan, courtesy of her wisps or perhaps the good weather that Sacramento seems to offer its residents.
"Your Highness", she bows in a curtsy and flashes her million-watt smile. "Sir Abe", she greets somewhat colder. "Lady Sonja", she smirks.
Her wisps, stroll around the tavern, trying to find a corner where they can take a nap.

She nods and frowns, “That’s too bad, thank you for taking the time to look.” She was grateful. “Benefits? I’d love to hear what you found.”

Shaking her head, “I had no luck myself, but I do have something to share. But I’d rather wait for Titania to arrive.” Might as well share it with everyone at once.

Nodding absently, “I know how that is.” Glancing at the flowers around her feet. Least she was used to it now. “But yup, defiantly cute on you!” she wouldn’t lie about that.

“Months?” damn. They really dropped the ball on keeping tabs on her.

“Titania!” greets the Nix, waving her over, “How are you? That’s a great color on you!” especially with the tan! “I brought some tea if you would like some.” She gestures to the table before going to get the letter from her jacket.

Holding it in her hands, she looks to her fellow Springs, “I got this letter.” She hands it out, “It’s from Ingrid, seems something came up and she had to leave. She doesn’t name anyone to take her place, just asks that we choose wisely.” With the letter handed to whom ever took it, she finally sits down, pouring her own tea.

Sonnie gasped and looked delighted that Titania showed up just a moment after the Beast had said her name. A sly grin spread across her face, and she rubbed her hands together, "Is my billion dollars coming?"

She waited, eyeing the door to the Tavern.

Of course, nothing happened.

"Poop."

Shrugging, she looked back to her fellow Emeralds. It was then that Seraphina revealed the letter. When she got a chance to read it, she did so. Despite what some might think, her lips did not move when she read. She did, however, frown by the time she finished.

"Double poop. Guess that settles that. Um, are we certain the letter is real? Do you recognize the handwriting, or something, Sera?"

And then, Abraham, ever the showman, made an even grander presentation. Sonnie raised her eyebrows in surprise.

"What is this? A daytime talk show? Who's Bree? Titania's baby daddy?"
