"You not a cop, ain't you?", the junkie asks doubtful. Skepticism of generous strangers and distrust of authority are rather useful perks for those who even if unwittingly found themselves on some rather dubious career tracks. Nonetheless and against every fiber of common sense he possesses, the man offers his id. Notorious B. Gee.
"My dad was a fan", the man shrugs, still following Shodan.
Kaze Shodan : As you make your way toward the VIP room from opposite sides of the floor, slowly skirting around the edges of the energy maelstrom dominating the center of the room, the increased pressure from the resonance welling by your feet crawls up your legs, into your pockets! It's like hundreds of tiny spider legs suddenly creeping up to pick your skin. It smells too, of tannin.
Not even a second passes from Phoenyx's last transmission that every phone in the room vibrates in unison. And then everything goes quiet, silent, dark. Occasionally a dagger of cyan light cuts the shroud of darkness, irradiated by the puddle of white and gray pooling at the center of the room. There luminescent eddies of different color crash down like a waterfall, seemingly to traverse the floor to the level below.
The people are immobile, like statues. Their stillness unchallenged even by the need for breath.
Shodan : you think you hear a voice "W..."

Phoenyx The elevator slowly tears its way through the innards of the building. One after another, numbers flashes across the display. 1, 0, -1, -
Then, the panel blinks one last time. There's a loud clang of metal followed by a violent emergency braking and the resulting whiplash sends you crashing against the backside of the cabin. With the lights out, you can't see much. Yet, your body can feel the damp surface of the back bulkhead. The wall thumps against your back, like a heartbeat or the sound of the ocean, and it's only getting louder.
Please note that neither Phoenyx nor Kaze can hear each other as they haven't casted Tune in. Shodan however, can hear both of their transmissions and respond (this mesasge can be received by casting Tune In) by virtue of his Legacy

He doesn't graceMr. Cannon Fodderhis new friend with an answer, too preoccupied in navigating the sea of people, lights and music. Trying not to get distracted by the ever-stronger resonance. The Libertine doesn't even have enough time to wonder at the vibrating phones before everything goes black.
Calling on the Supernal, he attempts to see the situation a bit better, then instinctively ducks behind the first thing that can provide a relatively safe, solid cover. Peeking out from his position, Shodan looks around to gauge the bind he's in. Unmoving people. Strong resonance of vulgar magic. And that voice...
Seems rather than forward, they are going downwards.

The Arrow scowls and looks for the emergency door lever to pry the doors open.
Great. No armour, no light, missing a knife and in a ridiculous outfit. Let's get out of here.
Phoenyx tries to open the elevator doors and see if there's any chance of squeezing onto one of the basement floors.

Shodan: The enchantment doesn't come as easily as the young Obrimos would have expected. It takes a notable effort of his will to snatch the supernal symbol away from the jaws of the Abyss, paradox (why?) threatening to spill over into reality. This time the burning smell of aetheric incense comes mixed with saltwater, it shouldn't be like that.
Color slowly returns to the mage's vision, and although his gaze can't pierce through the blanket of darkness for more than few meters, what he sees is worrying enough. Everyone... no everything in the room is standing still, an obscene mockery of life. At their feet the whirlwind grows stronger.
The voice grows louder at the back of his brain, he can control it for now, "You're not afraid of the dark, are you?"
Kaze: There's not much that the young Obrimos can do other than tentatively navigate the room by relying on his other senses. He bumps into a body, then another. They're cold. There's something heavy in the air.
Phoenyx: The door doesn't give in [a Str roll would be required, 3 successes]. The noise grows louder, and with a metallic clang the cabin buckles under the pressure of the waterfall of energy. Red stains creep down the walls of the cabin and eat their way forward to pool at Phoenyx's feet. The familiar scent of copper soon threathens to overpower her senses. The smell of blood mixed with saltwater.

The looming threat of Paradox on a very simple Forces cantrip pretty much confirms what he already suspected - there's so much vulgar magic in this place, the usually sturdy walls of Creation are wearing thin. Not only that, but there either seems to be a telepath on the loose... or the Obrimos is simply losing it.
"And who the hell might you be?" Shodan thinks back at the voice in his head, trying to remember if he's heard it somewhere before. If not? He commits the tone to memory.
What he'd also like to know is where are the other two Theurgists - Kaze is probably somewhere on the dance floor, but Phoenyx? They ushered her away pretty much from the beginning? Shodan's whisper carries along the radio waves, hopefully straight to his Path-mates' ears.
"Yo, where you at?"
Awaiting answers from both sources, the Libertine decides a moving taret is safer than a stationary one, and trying to stay behind some measure of cover at all times he moves in the direction of a stairwell that might lead down. If nothing like this can be observed, Shodan will make his way slowly to where some kind of staff area can be found.
With the degree of control someone seems to have over this place, he is not taking no goddamn elevator.

Kaze freezes. Realizing that none of the sleepers are moving, HE IS NOT MOVING either. He is doing his best to blend in with his surroundings for now, keeping his eyes and ears open no matter how uncomfortable that is, and waiting for an opportunity, for the agency causing this to reveal itself!
