The rage cools slightly as Matt points out that Chris is indeed the Beta. Somehow. Something to discuss with Hector sometime and hopefully not end up regretting it. "No no unless one of them is a wolf then I gave them the shake off. And if one is well, it'll be a bad night for both of us then." Then a nod towards the other Talon. "I like that plan."

"And that was ballsy as fuck Church, not sure on the whole sane thing but that's not exactly for us is it?" Arguing with spirits, dealing with genocidal relatives.

"I'm good with this plan though, you?" The Irraka looks at Church.

Matt grins a feral expression at Brigit like she's a rack of lamb ready to eat! "That. Is GENIUS!" he exclaims, his hands on her shoulders, just barely restraining himself from actually picking her up or throwing her up in the air in his excitement!

"Sister, they'll never know what hit them! We'll hit them like a Walmart truck hits a London tourist looking the wrong way to cross the street!" He laughs loudly in delight!

"Okay. Fine, you guys get a head start, and we'll get in position, right Emily? All careful and quiet, like a loaded gun!" he laughs again, loudly almost a howl!

Emily nods. "Yep. Not quite what I had in mind for tonight, but sure. Sounds more important."

She lights the cigarette and shrug. "We should get going."

Okay, MrGrieves has left the site, so we should move everything on.

I'm unsure how to respond since Church is no longer in play. That said... Super sorry about the delay! Work has been hectic, but my schedule is finally normalizing

As the pack starts to get organized a howl rips across the budding night.

Then a second.

And a third.

Adding to the noise sirens sound in the distance from the direction of downtown. A chorus of sirens rise from the night of Sacramento as if in response to the howls.

Which trail away as the sirens sound the arrive of human authority and human power.

The Talon stills as the howls and then sirens echo across his night. Shattering the growing calm that portends the arrival of shadows and teeth in them.

"The fuck?" Is asked to no one in particular before Chris moves and throws an arm across Church's shoulders.

"I think we need to have a chat about unfinished business." Is said with teeth and grin that's maybe a bit to wide for human comfort.

Chris's last question is asked to the other three wolves however. "Can you all roll down there and check it out? I'll catch up."

[Brigit]

Howls.

Blatant cries in the night and the draw of police. Only the Anshega would be so brazen... or a group of Ghost Wolves that hadn't learned any better. Either way, it was a problem.

The Herd must not know.

With a curt nod to Chris, Brigit moved to her Defender. Opening the door, she pauses and glances over her shoulder to the other two.

"Coming?"

The Ithaeur nods to Chris. "Sure, buddy. Don't be late." She skips across the the Defender. "Shotgun! Yiiiiiis!"

She looks to Brigit. "We'd better get going."
