    An expressionless humanoid with a sectioned doll-like exoskeleton of sand-blasted glass. He has glass eyes that move and blink, and his mouth moves enough to speak naturally without a speech impediment, but does not emote. Fawkes does have the same hair as his Mask escaping from cracks in his scalp. It is actually magnetized red sand; any facial hair (eyebrows, beard, eyelashes) have to be artificially applied by hand.

    Well, that was interesting. Apprently luck was on Cole's side. Fawkes measured the options of rematerializing at 60 paces to unload with the SMG, but the shell casings and likely approaching police would just trigger investigations. He could dump the body in the Hedge, but he wouldn't have a Mask and be on foot. The threat could be dealt with later, it wasn't worth risking the secrecy of their existence.

    Fawkes spends his turn moving away from the road and Cole. He is aiming to outpace to flee Combat.

    Cole saw Fawkes... Or what he assumed to be Fawkes. The contracts they both carried- their final stage. A dangerous one. And the failed hitman was using it to run away. His clothes were torn, but the fire within still burned.

    "You.. DARE! COWARD!"

    Cole charged, trying to chase- too hot blooded to consider any other option.

    It was clear Fawkes was getting away- no matter how hard he went. Even using Mirror to increase his speed, Cole couldn't catch up.


    "THIS ISN'T OVER!"

    This wasn't. Cole caught his breath- checking his phone. The fire armor that covered his body might have protected the phone.

    Fawkes would be long gone by now.

    Cole had learned all he ever wanted to, about this freehold. No, he wasn't ready here- or they weren't ready for him. But he wasn't letting Fawkes get away with this...

    Some business to settle. And after that... Cole was leaving.

    A hasty message to Rich. A few to Circe. A cab, or a car on the road, or an uber- any way to get back to his home, paranoid eyes all around.

    Lords help anyone nearby, should Fawkes and he meet eyes again.
