(Horizon) Spies Like Us

This thread occurs one night after this one.

Konstantin has notified Ishani and the others of a warehouse, currently unused, about a mile west of Horizon Pharmatech's Rio Linda facility, and suggested they use this as a staging area for this evening's operations. As the others arrive, they find the door open and Konstantin inside, sitting on a crate and sharpening his Bowie knife with a whetstone. Those paying attention might notice that he has tied a two-foot length of heavy cord near the pommel of his knife and around his right wrist. Against one wall he has leaned a spear and hung a modern-looking hunting bow and a quiver of arrows. Konstantin is dressed all in black: leather jacket and boots, jeans, t-shirt, gloves and knit cap.

Wilhelm arrives not too long after Konstantin, his customary weapons arrangement adjusted to accommodate two long swords that he did not usually carry. An extra pistol rode in a holster on the ankle opposite of the customary one as well, though none of these changes was easily visible due to his obfuscations. He was dressed similarly to Konstantin. Black pants, black boots, a black turtleneck over his kevlar vest, thin black gloves, along with a black ski mask currently stuck through his belt. It was unwise to depend overly much on Obfuscate after all. He offered a nod to the Hound as he walked in before settling down and awaiting the arrival of the rest of the group.

The van pulls up and Jayant hops out dressed in black also, but with shades of grey and navy. He knew the true colours of darkness and simple 'black' did not even begin to scratch the surface.

Elanah walked into the warehouse. She was wearing her normal street cloths. Once in the building she walked up to the men and greeted them, "Hello Gentleman."

She sets down a black duffel bag and a metal briefcase. She pulls urban night camouflage BDU's. She pulled them on over her clothes. She pulled out a black mask and a pair of black gloves. She set them down as she opens her metal briefcase. Out of the briefcase came her knives. First the Mat black Dustar Combat Knife. That went in a sheath and strapped horizontally on her belt line. Next came the Balisong knives. They went in holsters under her arms.

Next came the Jericho 941F, Elanah slotted a clip and put the extra in a belt pouch. Before putting the gun in the cross draw holster she screwed a silencer into the barrel. Lastly she pulled out a bundle of 4 throwing knives. She strapped one to both forearms, allowing quick and easy access. The other two were fitted with ankle holsters. She strapped them to her ankles and adjusted her uniform.

Well I am ready." She stated as she slides her fingers into her gloves. She picks up her mask. Elanah stood there, not a single visible weapon, without even activating her powers of blood.

Ishani enters the warehouse and looks at those already here. She gives a brief nod to everyone before finding a place to purch and waiting for Aesop to appear. She carries a large bag with her that she sets on a crate. She has her usual weapons on her and is dressed for the evenings activities.

Aesop arrives in baggy clothes that seems to be not as outdated as what he normally wears though it doesn't fit as well as if the garments were not meant for him because as kindred you had no excuse not to know your exact dimensions. He looked at everyone donning their weapons a bit confused, but he didn't say so, he recalled a scouting mission. The savage kindred nods to whoever looks his way when he enters.

Konstantin nods as the last of those taking part in this evening's scouting mission arrives.

"I think we should all approach together, coming just within sight of the place, then fall back to discuss what to do next. This way, we all have idea what we are doing."

Wilhelm felt his beast stir with each new arrival. Well, those without the Mask of Tranquility at least. But he had not used Merges Sorcery to leash the thing only to let it loose here. Between that and the varying familiarity he had with the Kindred present he was easily able to push it back into the corner of its cage where it belonged. "And it might be wise for those who can hide themselves from view to do so." He motions to Elanah, whose Urban Fatigues seemed particularly likely to draw attention from any pedestrians they might pass by. "It will make the group seem less conspicuous and, if necessary, allow us to turn the tables on a would-be ambusher." He spares a quick glance at the weaponry Konstantin has leaning against the wall. "Do you require someone with the Touch of Shadow to carry those for you?"

Konstantin looks at the weapons. "I don't want to slow anyone down. I brought weapons so if things go bad, we fall back here to fight." He thinks about it for a moment, though. "If someone would like to carry bow and quiver, maybe on back, I would not argue with that."
