StatusAlfonso's phone rings. The ring tone is a jazzy tune that might sound vaguely familiar.He quickly silences the tone and answers, mostly listening.
"I see. Alright. I will be right there. Yes, it is important." he says, ending the call.
"I am sorry. It is a family matter." he says. "Please excuse me." he says.
Then, he pauses and looks at each one in turn. "Ladies, Gentlemen, it has been a pleasure." he says.

MantleSonja looked up from where she was monkeying around with a wrench when the cafe staffer mentioned the security tapes. "Sweet, home movies!"
Putting the tools and toolbox back where she found them and moved to follow to the video tape viewing. She raised an eyebrow at the cop leaving in the middle of an investigation, but waved to Alfonso just the same. "Uh, 'kay. Bye, dude! We'll send you a full crime report later! Or whatever!"
With a shrug, she turned back to the others, attention already back on the subject of security footage.

Huh. Old tools, perhaps rusting, perhaps touching the box for quite some time. If iron residue had come off the tools and they were made of cold iron, perhaps the residue would be uncomfortable. Taking his glove off, he reached into the box and gently rubbed a finger on the space where the missing tools had been to try that out.
Once he finished, he said, "Please do wait a few minutes, sir. We would like to see the videos, to be sure." He gestured to Sonnie, to Titania, to suggest that they ought to go take a look, and followed the group toward the office to view the videos.

Sonnie was no video technician, but viewing the recordings of a little cafe's security camera shouldn't be hard. Right? Let's find out if the monkey can work the device and find the correct footage! The Beast happily fussed with the video controls, looking to rewind back to the approximate time of the weird sounds, and the time that Cafe Boi got himself fridge'd.

Turning up nothing, she looked at Maxwell and Titania and smiled sheepishly, "Yeah, I... I got no idea what I'm doing."
The employee waited in the lobby. "If you need me to bring up any of the recordings, let me know. I've seen my boss fiddle around with it a few times." He stated before sitting down in a booth, and curling up in the tightest ball possible, with a few random hoodies to stay warm. He made a face, now realizing some of them had been back there a long time and smelled nasty.
With the Winter Chatelaine rummaging around the bottom corners of the toolbox, his fingers felt like they were being stung by little pins and needles. Like the type you may feel if handling building insulation, the pink stuff. Another look in the box, and these fragments weren't sharp at all, there would be no reason a normal human would have these sensations. But for their kind, it took on a whole other sensation.

Maxwell let out a little 'hm', realizing his hypothesis had been correct. The items taken had left behind residue, residue that annoyed, that stung. What had been stolen was cold iron... which meant someone was gathering Banes.
Which meant there was a danger that needed to be reported, and quickly. Glancing around the room once more, the Chatelaine made his way into the security room. An amused smile crossed his face as the monkey messed about with the computer. "Allow me," he murmured to her, stepping up to the plate. Glamour flowed, connecting him to the computer before him and giving him greater insight into its use. Lithe fingers flew across the keyboard. Maxwell took his time, thoroughly assessing the data available.

MantleAfter moving aside for Maxwell, she stood by Titania and marveled at the Wizened's expertise. "Ooooo! You're really good at this hacking cyber stuff!"
She glanced curiously at the Fairest, "Why would They lock a dude in a freezer and steal old tools?" She kept her voice down, knowing the mortal was still nearby, and encouraged the Telluric to do the same.
Maxwell's handiwork produced a few things. They were able to go back to over a day. Fast-forwarding the mundane useless parts, they saw the manager leave and soon after, a figure who walked in wearing a hat and long dark trench coat. There was also a half mask, which was ridiculous looking, but it did what it was intended to do. The figure walked in, and gently shut the door then waited in the shadow by the door until the employee went into the refrigerator. The figure then quickly whisked through the kitchen and locked the door. There was no shoving or injuries sustained by either.
The figure then started rummaging through nearly everything. They were definitely looking for something specific. While looking, they went through the kitchen tools. When the hands were visible, they were wearing thick leather gloves. A simple, yet dirty, bag was over their shoulder, and they were shoving the large skillet and other oddball items into the bag. Then, he walked toward to where the lobby and the seating area would be. There were many minutes that passed on the recording before he came through the camera's pass again. This time, his bag looked a little fuller and he headed toward the door. A long pause again, much like the front lobby. He stood without motion. Then after many minutes passed, he walked out the door and locked it before letting it close. Not once did he look back to the refrigerator where the employee had been trapped.
On the front register camera, the Winter had fast forwarded to where he came into view in the front by the register. They were bending over, looking for yet another thing. The toolbox came out, and the figure crouched over it and started quickly going through it. They paused every so often, like they either heard something or were listening for something. Then, the small glint of a key came up, which he put into his pocket. More items, a hammer, awl and several other older looking tools went into the bag. He shut the toolbox and put it back where he found it. When he stood up, he turned to look at the front lobby door a moment, and clutched the bag while standing there several minutes. He made no movement. No other lights came up and bled into the front lobby seating area. Then the figure walked out of the range of that camera.
