A good toast? Not this girl. Once you had seen as many new years as she had, they started to lose their excitement.

A nod, “You should, cause it was.”

She accepts the glass with a smile, “Thank you.” This was going to make a mess later.

Laughing, because she was pretty sure he would be more worried about her eating him than Emily. “I think it’s all good.” She didn’t mix business with pleasure anyways.

“If I remember right, and correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t the kiss happen at midnight? I haven’t actually been out on New Years in forever.” True enough. “So you still have time.” She replies with a sly smile. Was looking like if Emily wanted her midnight kiss, she could get it.

Lina was fun outside of Court. Little spitfire.

The toast got a smile and a raise of her own glass. While she was who she wanted to be, she got the meaning behind the words.

"Oh, by all means Atticus, I would appreciate it." She handed over the tray to the Gangrel who offered.

Vivian also took a glass ready to toast. Lina's toast was as splendid as could be. The Daeva had many in her repertoire, but she wanted someone else to make it. "That was wonderful!"

"Raise a glass, and let's toast the new year!" For many reasons, she believed in a New Years kiss, sadly she hadn't had one in a very long time. This was no matter to her though, she watched vicariously as others did.

In the background, the sound of countdown could be heard. Auld Lang Syne played as soon as the clock struck twelve. For Vampires, this was midday for them, for the Kine wandering around, they probably were looking for someone to take home and really ring in the new year.

Atticus finishes handing out the drinks and then waits for the toast to finish. Once complete he holds up a glass, "Happy new year," the Gangrel says giving his boss a smile. He doesn't know what they are talking about. He doesn't have any pull on women, he's just a guy. Other then BB, but that was just harmless fun, it's not like he actually stood a chance with her.

If Atticus had guts, he would volunteer to kiss them all, or whomever wanted too, but he's just a guy. No swarth, no swarth at all. It's not that he wouldn't want too, they were all beautiful. Gorgeous even. Some more so. He wanted too for sure. But he was just a guy. Not a model or a movie star, he's a fisherman.

"Yeah, Midnight." Atticus answers.

Ingrid raises her glass with the others and downs her drink rapidly afterwards.

Along the way, she detaches from the group and claims some of the other guests who happen to be within reach. She adds her voice to the general cacophony and sings in the new year.

Lina didn't sing, or run for a New Year's kiss. That wasn't who she was. A predator amidst Kine, wearing perfect sheepskin to cover up the wolf. What would she have need of a kiss for? No doubt that was for others. Vivian. Emily. But it meant nothing to her. Raising her glass in salute to the Prince, the drink disappeared down her gullet, and she let herself enjoy the superficial enjoyment and excitement as Auld Lang Syne filled the air...

Shall we wrap this one up? It's 2 days from its conclusion.

Emily raises her glass to Lina's speech, draining the mostly-full flute in one go. "Here, here!" she cheers, setting the flute down. At the chocks chime and the songs begin to be sung, she swaggers over to Atticus. "Don't need to be shy, you know..." she looks up, smiling expectantly.

I'm good to wrap up once Emily gets her kiss.

Her glass was raised as well.

And then a change of events! Emily was looking to Atticus for her midnight kiss! Not what she was expecting to happen, but entertaining all the same. Here she had been prepared to kiss the cute Kine, but this worked.

A sly smile was offered to Atticus and Emily before she drinks from her glass.

"Please join us again for a grand opening night in February!"

Vivian announced, but doubtful many could hear over all the carryings on. It was a successful evening, but she'd not let it go to her head.
