Continued from here...
Ash, Joshua, and West ventured into the park to find the ghost of the former Curator, Tyria Primoria. Despite resistance, Joshua and West were able to protect Ash while he summoned the ghost, and received her final words. As they began their run back to the overrun Bell building, Vector attacked with a lightning strike, accompanied by an unknown woman. West has instructed them to make a run for it while he holds off the two hostile mages.

Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit....
This was Ash's train of thought as he runs like fuck to get away from those bastards, making sure that West and Joshua was still with him and they were running in the same direction.

Joshua gets to his feet, grabbing hold of Ash and tugging the wounded Moros along. "Keep going, keep going," he says, looking back over his shoulder. He wracked his brain, trying to think of someway to help--because he didn't think West was going to make it on his own. But he was coming up blank. And he couldn't leave Ash on his own. If Ash died it was all for naught.
Cursing under his breath, Joshua kept running.

Nimbi flare behind the mages as the other three engage, and the attractive brunette crouches as she becomes an ebon panther. A lightning bolt strikes the ground close enough behind that the Moros can feel the air heat.
In the distance, Ash and Joshua can see a haze of shapes surrounding the Bell building, and the distinctive yellow FJ Cruiser lurches into motion.
Roll (STA + Athletics + any applicable Merit or Specialty -3 (rain+fatigue)) three times.
If either chooses to not run back to the Bell bldg, please declare.

Joshua barely keeps his feet after the second lightning blast but stumbles in the muck not long after, falling to his knees. "Keep going," he calls out after Ash--who needs no encouragement and has already pulled far ahead--and gets back to his feet. He has to keep after Ash and make sure he gets through this alive. He wants to turn back; he doesn't want to leave West to those two. But he has his job to do.

As they run, they see the yellow Cruiser take off, leaving the dark hydra of arms and heads behind. The rain is heavy enough that everything seems to be from a black and white film, steeped in blacks and greys. The shape of the bleachers is still discernible in the distance, but the figures are lost, shielded from view by rain.
Ash is about 50M from the building, with Joshua trailing by another 50M.
What now?

"Shit!" Ash yells at the sight of the dark mass of heads and arms. Slowing and turning to Joshua, a pained expression etched on his ruined face. "The building's fucked. Where to?" He glances beyond his fellow Moros.
"Where the fuck's West?"

"He's gone," Joshua says in a flat tone as he catches up to Ash. "He's buying us time to get away from the Wardens, so let's not waste it. C'mon." He turns in another direction, heading towards the park's boundaries--to a road, to vehicles, to mobility. "Tell me Tyria told you something useful."
