(1810) Meeting of the Mighty

[Weavebreaker]

The Circle is a large almost imposing building of Gothic Architecture. It is an almost perfect replica of Westminster, but no one ever 'notices. Sleeper eyes slide over the ruins of what used to be, and only Awakened eyes can pierce the subtle occultation. Today, the courtyard of the Circle would serve as the meeting point for the Mighty.

It was a clear day out. The temperatures have slowly ceded to the changing of the season. It was still hot, yet not quiet where it had been and it was a dry heat, which made 86 degrees extremely plesant.

Weavebreaker stood in the courtyard, with her eyes towards the heavens. The blue sky looked pristine, without a cloud touching it. It was like a light-blue ocean overhead. With all the internal strife that plagued Sacramento, she was thankful the drama was not found in Path or Order; she was thankful that the Arrows had gained some numbers. There was hope on the horizon.

[Kaze]

Kaze pauses to enjoy the climate. He is a respectful distance from Weavebreaker, not wanting to disturb her, enjoying a sense of belonging fully as much or more than the weather. He is alert to his surroundings, even here, even as he soaks in a sense of purpose and place.

He stands loosely, his arms at his sides, balanced on his feet. He is in jeans and a sleeveless tee shirt, a prominent Superman logo tattoo showing on his upper arm, almost his shoulder. He has been working out, by the sight and scent of perspiration, and is enjoying the breeze.

Slowly, Phoenyx opens her eyes and uncrosses her legs from the middle of the floor in the barracks. It was pleasent for her to spend time alone in the Arrow tower. It gave her time to prepare herself for facing the others that had inscribed their names on the Watchtower of the Golden Key.

She looks at her phone for the time. Heading over to the window overseeing the courtyard, her fellow Arrows are already there - the puppy-like Kaze and the thoughtful Wseavebreaker. Forgoing her trenchcoat (it was must too warm for it anyway), Phoenyx makes her way downstairs in her gym-wear - black spandex leggings with stripes of red, and a black supportive top. She gives an upward nod to both of the Arrows, acknowledging them both, before making her way to the center of the courtyard.

She sits, crossing her legs, and takes a deep breath. Looking down into the grass, she reaches down and allows a single ant to crawl up onto the rfingers. She watches it patter over the back of her hand, before reaching out with magic and Attempting to touch it's form.

To those with the Sight, Phoenyx's Nimbus blooms into life, a pair of wings composed of scarlet flame and whisps of shadowfire unfurling around her. The head of a firey bird rises out of her hair, and shreeches...

And then...

Nothing. The ant continues it's journey along the back of her hand.

Phoenyx sighs, and lowers the ant back to the ground, before laying back and staring at the clear sky.

Podcast paused, earbuds removed, cords carefully wrapped before being put away.

"Good afternoon..."

Kaze sees the unfamiliar, impressive woman approach. At her greeting, he considers, whether someone more senior should speak. Then decides. This is his home now. It is appropriate to greet people.

"It is.", he agrees. "Hello. I am Kaze." he offers, looking at her eyes.

[Winter]

He had spent his time for his daily incantations.

The Guardian strode to the courtyard purposefully, sauntering to the middle with a certain aplomb. He's business casual, the only smidge of eccentricity is from the brown of his waistcoat; perhaphs a tad too liberal over the blue of his jeans and the white of his shirt. He hasn't shaved for a day or two. Overall, unremarkable.

He greets his comrades with a nod. "Magister, Councilor", curiously surveying the strangers with an inconspicuous glare.
His facial muscles threaten a scowl, but he's quick on suppressing the instinct. Bulging biceps - there were ladies around - , spandex, ostentatious tattoos, the army had plenty of those, but again, he didn't expect a training session.

"Welcome", his voice comes off hoarse.

Upon hearing the new voices, the lithe Asian woman rises up and looks at the new individuals. New to her, anyway.

She nods to Sand and replies initially to Winter. "Thank you. I am Phoenyx. Of the Adamantine Arrow." The introduction is done to both, but the words are a little stiff, as if she is unable to relax. "The Order has sent me here. For... experience. And perhaps Wisdom." She stands with a little defiance in her posture, almost like she expects a challenge.

She turns toward Sand. "Councillor? Then you must be Councillor Sand. It is good to meet you." Her gaze moves slowly between them, waiting for one to speak.

[Weavebreaker]

"Ello." She said with a wave.

"Here recently we were blessed with some new arrivals." She motioned to Kaze and Phoenyx, who had already introduced themselves.

Weavebreaker didn't bother introducing herself, as everyone already knew here. "This is Sand, our path Councilor and this is Winter." She would let Sand and Winter go more in-depth about themselves, if they wanted to.

[Kaze]

Kaze nods and smiles, acknowledging the introduction and standing still and ready to respond, letting his seniors choose to interact as they Will.

[Winter]

"Good, the path to Wisdom often leads to unexpected places", was his hidebound reply. A lengthier presentation would have aggravated the meeting with ‎superfluous tinsel. "Shall we commence?", he inquired right to the point, turning over to Sand.
