New Sticks in the Barracks

There's another long pause, in which Phoenyx methodically emptied her bag.

Conversation. They say something. Now you say something.
It's stupid.
Maybe. But people need this so they trust you.

The Obrimos looks a little uncomfortable, but says slowly, "I didn't know it at the time, but I was also trained by an Arrow. I recognised your training. If you want to practice, I would like to keep up my own. We do a few weekly spar sessions. Or something."

[Kaze]

Kaze nods. "I agree. Thank you." he says.

Kaze begins to go through his duffel bag, taking out some clothes, a stand for the katana in its scabbard, a small musical instrument case, shaped like a guitar, but about a quarter of the size, a cheap looking flip phone, which he checks briefly and puts in his pocket.

After some minutes pass, Kaze says, "The technique you asked about, is advanced Kung Fu. It is the Whirlwind Strike method. It emphasizes hand speed over power. I think you might be able to use it more effectively than I do, getting more strikes in. If you like, I would be happy to show it to you, when we spar."

[Phoenyx]

Her features twist into an amused smile. "Sure. Why not."

She begins tidying away the last of her things. "Let's just see how being Arrows together work s first. Go from there."

[Kaze]

"Good." Kaze says, smiling back. He takes out some sweats and a sleeveless tee and some athletic shoes and socks, workout clothes.

[Phoenyx]

Phoenyx doesn't say anything else, but takes a small wooden box out of her bag and settles on the bed with a pad, scribbling some notes.

I'm good to wrap there. It was fun! As the person that opened the scene, you'll need to close it at the end.
