Colours in every shades born of the sleeping mind on displays as sunlight plays upon the arranged array of rainbows.

The Omen descends on this revelry of colour wearing the extremes in opposite. Her hair offers a pop of blue, striking against the black of her wrap, and the white of her eyes.

She greets the women behind the til with distant warm, before drawing herself further into the art supply store.

Stood scanning the assorted inks in a long trenchcoat is Phoenyx, looking at a pair of colours - a deep blood red and and a dark, shadowy indigo. She looks up on instinct as the sound of the door heralds another customer, spotting the golden glyphs of covert spells dancing around the eery gothic female that enters. The Obrimos regards the new customer carefully, running her dark eyes up and down the striking woman as she enters the store.

No point in hiding. You can see her wards, likely she can see yours. Just get your inks and papers, and leave.

Phoenyx begins turning as the other mage moves deeper between the shelves, keeping her in the perifery of her vision. The young Arrow moves slightly to pick up a roll of parchments and tactilely rubs the paper, feeling it's texture between her fingers but glancing at the other mage as she moves.

Kaze tags along with Phoenix, he is wearing a brown leather jacket over a grey tee and black trousers and shoes. He browses the calligraphy supplies, for high end brushes and parchment. He is alert and interested in the surroundings and other people in the shop.

Death touches everything. Every inch and swatch and acre, Banshee sees the weight of Endings. Upon man, she sees how close they are to it. Not just their own time but however many bushes they've had. How close they had come. She sees it in blood stains and gashes unhealed. She see it in chains and gunpowder residue.

She sees it when she spots the women with golden glyphs woven about her person and she see it when she feels someone walking over her grave, as a male is casting and making his arcane gestures in the parking lot, but it seems whatever he is casting is golden too.

"Greetings," she says over by the watercolour of bloody splendour.

[Kaze]

"Hi." Kaze says. "I'm Kaze." he says. His body is loose, ready to move, but comfortably still, standing balanced with his weight over his feet, his arms loose at his side as he faces Banshee. His accent sounds local, or California anyway, maybe more close to the beach but subtly.

Death is an old acquaintance, hanging around Kaze like a familiar scent, childhood memories. Not violent, sudden or unexpected, but relentless, inevitable loss of anyone he would have called family. Cancer. Hospital disinfectant. Doctors. Late nights wondering if the death watch was almost over. Guilt for relief when the vigil ends. Numbness. Loss. And the feeling of familiarity when it happens again, ten years later, eventually taking everyone. Death is not an enemy to be feared or fought, but a natural force, like rain. When it rains, you get wet. When death comes for you, you go. What you do in the meantime is what matters, right up to the moment, how you die.

"Hey." Phoenyx replies in a deadpan tone. She tucks a pad of thick paper under one arm, and looks at the

Small Talk. Ugh.

"What. Are you looking. for?" Her sentence is stilted as she forces herself to talk, but the voice barely wavers from a controlled monotone.

The Obrimos' glance darts right as another person enters, and her eyes narrow slightly as she sees Kaze come in and introduce himself. What? Did her just follow me here or something?

Her brow arches, "Even here, now, Kaze?" she asks, her haunting voice ringing around the aisle. Her artificially corpse pale eyes, flicking towards the Sleepers wandering the store.

Whatever his answer she shrugs, turning to the well muscled women, "Are you speaking to me, or to the one who followed after you?" she asks, "If it is the former, I am here to purchase supplies as are you," she gestures lightly to the sheaf of paper under the women's arm. "My mind is towards water colours now, I want to find a red. Deep but sheer. Something paradoxical." her corpse pale eyes turn towards the pallets and shades. Samples and swatches. "Though of course, not a Paradox." her bleak painted lips twist faintly upward. "Have the pair of your met with anyone else, or am I your first point of contact?"

Kaze definitely looks confused, wondering why she seems to know him, when he doesn't remember meeting her before, is sure he would remember if he had met her before!

"I...you are the first." He manages, then quickly, "Outside of our own...archery group, I mean."
