Before the Rollback, Knot had picked up, so I'll continue from there.
Alastor sounds like he's walking. There are muffled city sounds in the background.
"I'm on my way back. I'm in a bad way. But, uh... you should see the other guys. I think the rest of our guys are okay. How y'all holding up?"
Because uttering the word 'bomb' or 'kill' into a cellular phone around a terrorist attack sounded like a fucking terrible idea.

Knot looks down at his bloody hand and sort of just fucking skips right over the How y'all holding up portion of Alastor's side of the call.
"Yeah, the... news. It's fucking nuts. We're all back at the... rotary club? We, well, we've got a... Guest?"
Blink. Blink. The guy sounded rough, too.
"Hosting there, eh? Okay." He gave a little sound like he was wincing in pain. "I'm gonna come to you. I'll be there soon."
