Farewell Feels

[Viola Jones]

Viola paced, step after step. Turning when her boot knocked a can, only do do it again, and again and again.

Once she would have just baled.

She almost did. she ran, and ran and ran, but fuck. She came back.

She wasn't alone. Her had a Pack.

And she was leaving them.

There's the sound of a car backfiring and a blue beetle swings around the corner hurriedly. It pulls up with a screech. Emily tries to open the door. It doesn't open. She jiggles the handle and shoves at the door - it pops open with a clang. "Dammit," the Ithaeur mutters, as she shuts the door.

It doesn't close.

Growling, she slams the door. Finally, it closes.

Sheepishly, she looks up at the Rahu. "Uh, hey V. What's up? Your message sounded pretty serious."

[Chris Laurent]

Measured steps bring Chris to where Viola's message had said. If the Rahu was messaging then things probably were under control. Or things had been brought under control messily. Either way, time to move but not to overtly rush. Can't let the herd get used to see some things.

"Hey, What's going on?" The Talon asks without looking at Viola or Emily. Instead his head swivels as he looks around and hands hang ready for things to get messy.

[Tristan Hardt]

The wayward punk's summons surprised Tristan. The girl barely says two words, half the time, and now she wants to hold some kind of pow-wow? Still... just the fact that she wants to talk to the rest of them at all means something's up. So he doesn't bother to change out of his uniform when he gets the message. Nope. What he's wearing is just fine for talking.

When he arrives, he lays eyes on the group and gives them a reverse nod. "Got your message. What's this about?" he asks, echoing pretty much everyone else who'd already spoken.

Viola stops her pacing.

"Yeah. Serious." she grunts to Emily.

"Something, sure." is more of a scoff to Chris.

"About?" she glares at Tristan. "I wanted to wait for Hector but." she scowls to herself, shoving her hands deep into her pockets.

"Fuck." she snarls, angry, her pacing resumes. "I'm leaving." she gets out as she turns, not looking at any of Carillon Call.

[Hector]

Hector appears in a ratty suit and crumbling sneakers. He is not waring a shirt. A chemical smell is trailing him like a spurned lover as well. Hector stoically ignores it.

"What? Why?"

His voice carries a hiss, his teeth bared. His brown furrows deeply.

"There is much to do here and we have only just begun!"

Emily's eyes go wide with shock. She slouches against her car, and idly kicks the kerb. "Whaa... Uh..... why?"

[Chris Laurent]

Stillness before Chris slowly turns to the Rahu. Running? That's not what Viola does. Who has what on her. Motion returns as Chris shakes his head.

"Who has what on you? We can run them down tonight and sing to Mother to let them know what's coming." A bit of gleeful cheer slips into Chris's voice. That would be one hell of a hunt. ...where did Hector get that suit.

Resistance. Shock. Ya, words of support to wack the imaginary fool who had something on her.

Not expecting that but. Irraka, sure.

"I'm leavin' 'cause I got a call from someone I never thought I'd hear from." haste, grief. Blood. Rage.

Viola, turns to face the Pack.

"I'm an aunt."

The admission, the thought. The reality.

Emily's shoulders slump. Remember, you said you wouldn't talk about her family shit. Hell, did she even mention a sibling? Of course she's going. She'll be determined to make sure no-one is gonna be the dick to them her Dad was to her. I mean, if the brother... sister, whatever, is Blooded then there's a chance something might happen. And she wants to stop it. She can't not go. She's gotta. She really has gotta go.

The Ithaeur realises her hands are doing what they always do when her mind is blown. She's already halfway done rolling a cigarette, sunbconsciously. she looks up and down the street before pulling a lighter out of her pocket and lighting it. Boring, but I don't want Herd screaming because my hand's on fire.

She takes a long drag and watches Viola awkwardly. "Well, you gotta make sure your family are okay. I really, really get that."

Even if it's from other members of your family.

"I guess you're goin' a long way. Just... be safe, okay? And, like... call? Y'know, If you need something. Not that, like, I think you will, Because you're tough. But. Y'know. Like. In case. or whatever." Emily really doesn't notice how rambly she's being.
