Rhodes searches his memory for any recollection of Queen Anne.
Holy heck.
Rhodes hasn't been throught he City, so that route is out. Depending on what this gets me, I might still try for the investigation roll as well.

When Lucifer mentions that Circe might have a good clue who Queen Anne was, Penance pulled out her phone and began composing a text to the Summer Sovereign. Who knows? Perhaps she would even like to go with them? While Penance, Ogre that she was, felt she could provide any muscle if things got dicey, it certainly couldn't hurt having the leader of the most warlike Court come along with them. They could make a road trip out of it.
"I will text Circe about it right now. I just hope she is is awake right now."
Sloth Edit: Text
Huh. I wasn't aware Circe was from San Fransisco. Interesting.
Rhodes nods in agreement. "Let's spread our tendrils locally first. I had heard there was no sign of a local Market - probably due to the small Freehold size - but nearby places may possess one with hobs willing to talk. It's possible we may need to visit west, but Lady Anne is not someone I want to cross unduly."
The Flowering looks to Freya. "A sleeping sickness? It could be connected, I suppose." He rubs hs chin thoughtfully. "I'm not sure if we can taint dreams... we can bend them, break them, turn fantasies to nightmares, but true poison..." Rhodes shakes his head. "I would easily believe a member of the Gentry could sent a poison via a willing or unwilling Lost. I have never heard of it before, but I could believe it possble."
The Fairest pulls a phone from his jacket. "I will contact the Spring Queen, and see if she can recall any other details from the Dream that may be of note."

"It is whispered that the oldest of us, those who are steeped so strongly in the Wyrd, are like shadows of the Gentry themselves. Nevertheless, what I felt was no shadow," Lucifer declared, her voice low and trembling. "It was Them. This Queen Anne might be acting on their behalf, but They are looking over her shoulder, if they are not pulling her strings.
"Though," Lucifer added after a moment, a long, taloned nail tapping against the table, "perhaps this means that the Children are the breadcrumbs that we must follow, so that we might save Hanzel and Gretel from their Witch. Perhaps they mark the trail of where Queen Anne has been. Can any among us track this? Find who was the first child, and the second, and perhaps we can add pins to a map and see where she has come from, and where she is going."
Int+Investigation roll to make a map of all the children stricken?
Freya gave a solemn nod as the others began to come to a similar conclusion as her own.
Then Luci began to float the idea of mapping a victims. The reasoning seemed obvious to Freya. Track the effect to find the Path. The Path leads to the Prey. The very thought of the Hunt would have made She-Who-Stalks salivate in anticipation, but... it was not to be. The Den Mother was in control and rationale thought ruled the day. For now.
God, Freya, you're losing your touch.
After a few moments, Freya gave a nod. "I can... give it a try." Then the phone was out again, she would ignore the greater discussion for now, dedicating herself to the task. The phenomenon was well-documented. News stories up the wazoo.
After some time, Freya would breathe out in relief. She had found something at least.
1 success
Rhodes nods at Lucifer's declaration. "The wyrd makes us less and less what we once were. It stands to reason."
While waiting for the reply to his text to Ingrid, Rhodes similarly pulls up some news articles on his phone and a notepad from his pocket, jotting down the recorded information, relaying his information to Freya for her Map.
3 successes
Penance shakes her head as she looks up from her text.
"Circe knows her. Queen Anne was a Loyalist and helped make Fetches. Her... ree-lay-shun-ship," how does a T even make a 'sh' sound?!, " with Quills is probably not friendly. Circe also might be coming here."
Since her phone was already out, she decided to do her own fact-checking on the missing children.
failure
Circe was messier then usual when she arrived. She'd not bothered to do more then put on jeans, shoes, and a coat plus holsters. And then had to re-dress to include her under vest. She even still had bed head hair. The only thing stylish on the Fairest was the tote bag holding her laptop and extra ammo.
As it was Circe had gotten here fast enough to violate quite a number of traffic laws. She was panting as she entered, complaining about store hours in Italian is she stormed in. Circe stomped right up to Penance, "Okay. I'm here. I'm goin' ta need details. Especially about what that bitch has been up ta. I warn ya," her voice is low, "I couldn't get a rifle 'n scope on short notice so I'm kinda pissed off right now."
The blueberry elf didn't even notice the others present.
