Lonely Firehouse

"Lucky you..." she says with a sarcastic smile and a roll of her eyes.

The bit about swords gets a curious look from the Enchantress. A little old-fashioned. But they do make quite an impression. Grappling on the other hand? "Most of my experience is in hand strikes and knife fighting. But I could still probably show you some good holds and take downs."

She can only nod her head from behind her mug about the Seers. If what her colleague says is true, they'd need a different approach than simply tracking down the bad guys and kicking their butts.

"Combating willworkers? With counter-magics? Or physically?" she inquires, sounding a little excited. "Believe it or not, I got some special training for the Order for just that purpose. Are you familiar with The Adamantine Hand?"

"Oh, no problem. I should be the one thanking you. It's been too hectic since Lacuna left." And lonely.

[Weavebreaker]

Weavebreaker gave a nod of her head. "Yes. One day I hope to learn it." She knew she was still far away from being able to combine martial and magical prowess.

"Yes, I can typically shut down others with countering." Weavebreaker held other tricks up her sleeve, and had grown significantly from what her shadow name was originally intended to signal.

"We definitely have a lot of work, but we will get there."

"What about you?" Weavebreaker said as she took another sip of coffee. "What do you want to learn?"

"I'm guessing that's what all the Prime is for?" she muses. She'd never even attempted to counter a spell before, herself.

Hamia sets her mug down on the counter and frowns thoughtfully. "Well... I guess I've always wanted to be more 'magically minded'. My first instinct isn't always to probe a room for supernal influences, you know? When I'm with the others I feel a little outclassed. If that makes sense." Everyone's just going to laugh. 'Laughing at her' might be underselling it. She can just imagine someone challenging her to duel over being too much like a Sleeper with magic toys. It takes her a moment to shake away the image.

"But in the meantime..." she says, smiling a little and plucking her mug back off the counter. "Have I got a definite 'yes' on the Cabal? I don't know if you noticed it on the way in, but we're standing in a Hallow. This little place is great for clearing your head, working out, or just recovering." She may feel like the 'dumb' Mage sometimes, but she had the sense to snatch up a Hallow when she came across it.

[Weavebreaker]

"The whole is greater than the individual pieces." Weavebreaker said to Hamia. "The diversity in skills and talents, is what gives strength."

Weavebreaker took another sip of coffee. "That is a definite yes too."

With that, Weavebreaker lifted her coffee mug for a cheers. "To the Hounds of Artemis."
